It’s peaceful and quiet and calm and that was what I was looking for after a day at work. There is acreage to stroll around and enjoy the natural environment.

Some people come to Budhist Centre and expect that the subject of Buddhism will not be talked about... C6 needs some stepping stones connecting to the path at C5. When it was really wet, the water along this way was more than an inch deep. The thing is that when wearing tongs in this water/mud feet get dirty and there is no way to keep cabin floor clean, especially that rains came after grass was just cut.

Awesome place 😀👍, basic but awesome. Nature☀️, optional meditations🙏, people🎎 - just GREAT! An escape from civilisation. I shared one of my breakfasts with a bird (photo). I was in a separate cabin (first on the right in my photo). There is bus stop about 20 mins from the Centre (I travel by public transport).

Nothing. The question of beds needs qualification in that my pay load exceeds the norm. Hope to deal with that with Meditation and Reatreat , healing, fasting.

Beautiful location, peaceful. I saw several wallabies (two with joey's). Great price, perfect for those just wanting an overnight stay. Lovely gardens

Without a car it needs careful planning to keep the walk at shortest. With a car obviously not an issue

The property is very beautiful and peaceful. It was exceptionally good value. The accommodation is basic but for the price, that was fine. I stayed in a single cabin which has air conditioning. Breakfast was provided (toast or cereal) along with coffee or tea. I was in Brisbane by myself for a week and this was a perfect stay. I had a rental car, I don’t think there was public transport nearby.

Lovely hosts. Peaceful and surrounded by bushland. Short stroll to koala reserve with great walking tracks. 24/7 access to kitchen facility and nice continental breakfast.

I would like to have had a hotplate available for cooking the food I had brought. I am not the biggest fan of microwave ovens. Although there was a steamer device available it was not that convenient. Be aware that if you are not travelling by car, getting to Bodhi Chan is a bit tricky. The closest bus stop is over 1 km away, and a couple of steepish hills do not make for easy pulling of wheeled luggage. Also for those on New Zealand time, the wake up time here is much the same in terms of beginning of sunlight and raucous dawn chorus at approx 4.30 am AU time (of course 7.30am NZ)!

Catherine was welcoming and helpful on arrival. My room (with own bathroom) was clean, comfortable and simple for a two night stay. For breakfast, fresh fruit was provided along with cereals, bread, milk and tea & coffee). I brought my own food, (I had been travelling for a week), as I prefer low gluten, low dairy and whole grain foods. A refrigerator helped with food storage and the electric jug with making hot drinks. On Saturday morning I thoroughly enjoyed joining a local group who came to do Tai Chi/Qigong on the front lawn. Following this, I joined the Bodhi Chan Qigong class, contributing to the shared lunch with these friendly folk afterwards. The group meditation reading gave me an experience of a different way of meditation. The meditation room was a peaceful space to continue with one's own practice in silence.
