Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWasn't long enough to enjoy the views
Everything so close to Kiama but still fat enough to just unwind from fast paced city life . Would recommend to anyone who would just let the fast pace behind for a few days . Take a bath under the stars

AustraliaMay i suggest as a new provider your property has alot of potential to grow ( e.g explore walking nature and surrounds ) in the future. A beautiful place to stay thats for sure.
Upon our arrival our host Jen greeted us in a professional courteous manner she explained everything about the facilities etc. Location was perfect away from the busy lifestyle our tent was clean, the bed was very comfortable, fireplace was perfect to just sit and relax outside overlooking the scenic views. Overall it was so peaceful and relaxing.

AustraliaThis is a beautiful property in a superb location. The bed in the luxury tent was very comfortable, and the bathroom was just right, with every detail thought of. The bath on the outdoor deck was perfect. The host is extremely friendly and we would be happy to stay again at the drop of a hat!

AustraliaThere were mosquitoes and spiders, though this is expected from this type of stay.
The surrounds were so beautiful and tranquil, we felt ourselves relax and unwind immediately. Excellent amenities provided for the Green Grocer tent, with a fire pit and wood, hammock, comfy seats, and privacy outside. Then inside the tent was lovely with comfortable bed and lamps, kettle, fridge, crockery etc. The shared kitchen and bathroom areas were very nice, clean and well kitted out. Bonus was all the friendly hens roaming the grounds.

AustraliaThe distance to the bathroom should have been a bit shorter. Or maybe just a toilet next to the tents?
Loved everything! The tent put up well against even the torrential rain. The campfire + bbq facility is excellent.

The location is excellent, the surroundings are calm, the view is terrific and the setting is comfortable.

AustraliaSharing one bathroom. Although this is a boutique campsite and only sharing with one other tent, it wasn’t a big issue … just that personally we like to have our own space.
This location is an exceptional relaxing get away. It was pouring with rain and stormy on arrival but for us this added to the ambience. The tent stayed dry and we loved the fact that we could make use of the fire pit; hammock and enjoy a glass of wine , admire the sunset and then climb into a cosy bed and sleep to the sound of crickets and gentle rain . In the morning we enjoyed the amazing view of green hills and mountains, whilst cooking our camp breakfast and just relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxed!! There are plenty of forest walks nearby, wineries, Southern Highlands Winery do a great lunch menu and wine tastings and their wines are really superb. Also Kiama beach is 15 mins away but most importantly I’d advise ……head to Gerringong (Gerringong Cafe/takeaway) for the best fish n chips !!

AustraliaNothing not to like! Would be nice to have somewhere to hang towels in the tent (we were in the Green grocer and we had no hanging options) but only a very minor thing to note. Otherwise, everything was superb.
Everything! This is true 'glamping' and for someone who doesn't like anything to do with camping in general it was just utterly superb. The tent is spacious, and the bed is beyond comfy. Location is perfect, so close to all the beaches whilst feeling like you're in the remote countryside. The perfect place to switch off/disconnect, then get in a few surfs, and return to your private campsite with your own firepit.

MalaysiaNothing. Maybe good to have somewhere to hang the towels in the tent.
The view and the tent are very beautiful. Amazing experience. Tent is equipped with all the things we need and a small fridge. The whole place is so eco-friendly. The owner, Nick, is very helpful and explained well in all the things that we need to know and take note of. The hammock is a bonus, we enjoyed looking at the nice blue sky, beautiful sunset and the stars at night. Shared kitchen and bathroom are clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful at night, surrounded by nature. We really love this place and enjoyed our stay. All the best to Nick. Please keep it up

AustraliaWe unfortunately - by no fault of anyone - experienced extremely wind on the first night of our stay. It was very nerve wracking being in a tent which was shaking uncontrollably. Would recommend checking ahead for weather conditions if you are an easily anxious, or experience sensory issues. Nick to his well earned credit was very helpful with this!
The Bell Tent was beautiful, it was just like the photos, with nothing out of place. The shared amenities were well maintained and clean with lots of supplies. Nick communicated very, very well. He was always attentive and clearly goes out of his way to ensure everything is up to his very high personal standards. The location was conveniently located close to Kiama (8 mins), loads of natural attractions both inland in rainforests and waterfalls, and on the coast with geological marvels, and the beaches. It was a wonderful experience for myself and my partner. Would certainly recommend to a friend.
