I didn't like the door to the bathroom, it was a sliding door but it wasn;t a smooth slider it took all my strength to get it to close and there was no lock on it either. I did mention about it when I returned the keys to Q-Stay Reception. I also had trouble getting out of the couch as it is a well worn couch that's been well used and needs upgrading.

View from the apartment was great. Beds were comfortable but the only thing with the single beds, they weren't long enough as my boys feet were hanging out the end.

Air conditioning set-up was terrible! Because we had a 5th person staying with us & they were sleeping in the lounge room, we could only set the air con to the rooms or lounge room at any one time, making the bedrooms extremely hot given it was so hot on Saturday & we could not use the air con for all areas at once. So it was either hot lounge room or hot bed rooms.

Security staff were not polite as we are young women that were constantly advised we were apart of schoolies and became quite hostile whenever we advised we were not schoolies and to put on our lanyards immediately. We had music playing too loud on one of the nights, at 7:30 pm, this resulted in a noise complaint (our bad we know) however the security then threatened to kick us out and argued with us saying we were schoolies. Over their walkie talkies we heard another security guard yell at the one at our door to kick us out repeatedly. There may be some common sense I am lacking here when it comes to noise complaints however I believe this was far too aggressive when our contract stated quiet time is 10pm. The fear this instilled stopped us from even turning on the TV and making jokes at all our neighbours doing the same but past 10pm “noise complaint” so not all bad right? Our bad for not planning ahead with the schoolies dates… won’t make that mistake again. Schoolies security won’t stop us from recognising the amazing time we had here. Thank you

The QStay staff were lovely as well as the residential staff. Qstay staff were so amazing when our designated driver’s battery died, offering to use their car to jump ours.

It could have been cleaner. Lounge needed a deep clean and blankets weren’t washed prior to us arriving! Also the people above us partied all night causing a lot of noise down to us!

The pools were awesome and cooking was made so easy with all the kitchen utensils.

We couldn’t sit out on the balcony as often as we liked as there were people next floor up kept on smoking. We thought that this was disgusting and was unpleasant. We took it to management at Q- Stay and complained several times and said the apartments were strictly non smoking. They gave us security number and we complained to them they just said it wasn’t there problem. There needs to be more pro active on the part of management. So we were angry and seems to us that no one cared. It was noisy at night from outside but we can’t control that. The button on the toilet was really hard to flush. It needs changing.

The apartment was perfect for our needs. Top value for money, close to all facilities and the view to the beach was sensational. Love the small kitchen , could prepare meals everyday. Free car parking down stairs at no extra charge

Beds were 2 singles pushed together and not very comfortable, security was unfriendly and would not even say hello. Apartment had damage to walls, burns in carpet and worn patches and stains.

air vent for aircon were not clean but nothing major. The toilet flush was quite hard to press, especially for kids. Probably shall be changed. TV could be a bit bigger we felt it was a bit smaller for a holiday purposes. Apart from that it was a great stay. will stay again.

Not staying long enough.

The location was handy to Cavill Ave with great views of the ocean. The unit was presented perfectly especially the decore with all the home comforts making it a great getaway.

There is literally only one bad thing about the apartment. The verandah was infested with cockroaches once it got dark. We bought some spray and gave it a thorough spray and killed about 50 on the first night, it wasn't as bad after that. I understand roaches are common in coastal areas but it needs to be professionally sprayed so the verandah can be usable at night. There were none inside the apartment at all.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean inside. Great view. Had everything we needed, full kitchen, comfy lounge, big tv, 2 bathrooms and a laundry. Location is excellent. Have stayed in this building many times and will be back many more times. Easy to pick up keys from nearby.

Smell from the cigarette smoke wafting in to our apartment from other people smoking on their balconies.
