We had a fantastic weekend at Closeburn House. Steve and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!

Exceeded our expectations! The whole house has been beautifully renovated and styled. We loved the comfy and cosy common areas where we could enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The common areas are really big for the number of guests so you feel like you have your own space to enjoy. Breakfast is outstanding!! Paul & Steve are the most amazing hosts and have really thought of everything to make the stay unforgettable. Can’t recommend enough!

Really, there was nothing at all to dislike. I suppose the issue for me is always how the beds are - I need firm mattresses, and this was fine.

This is an updated colonial house. It has wonderful gardens surrounding it and the hosts a really friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern and very comfortable and there is a lovely dining area with a bar adjacent. Very happy to recommend this home for anyone travelling west from Sydney.

Stunningly beautiful grounds and so very tastefully decorated , everywhere you look is beautiful . The owner/ managers went above and beyond from the second I walked in the gorgeous foyer . They were warm and welcoming and such wonderful kind hosts . The breakfast was generous and delicious. Thank you so very much for a perfect stay . Cannot rate highly enough . Everything was fabulous

Beautiful house, stylish decor throughout, quite with lovely sitting areas both inside and outside the house. Immaculately clean with fresh flowers 💐 throughout the lounge areas, such a nice touch 🙂 The bar is very chic New York.

Everything was amazing. I’ve referred so many people to this place and hopefully they will book.

Where do I start! Paul and Steve made us feel welcome from the very beginning. They were so organised and gave us written suggestions of eateries around. Their breakfast was 10/10 and we felt so spoilt. The place is so wonderfully presented, it feels very luxurious. I loved the fact that it is a kid free space, and only 1 room has a tv because it made us feel like we were truly relaxed and on a little getaway. I would like to comment the place was exceptionally clean, the sheets felt such high quality and I had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time because the bed was so comfortable. I’m really happy to have stayed in this place and had the couple of days of feeling at peace and relaxed.

Ideally the rooms we'd like would be available when we would like, but unsurprisingly, it's popular! Also, no tv in the rooms if you're into that

The a la carte breakfast was amazing. My partner has to take photos of each meal as it came out and the fruit and grains were all fresh and crisp. The decor is straight out of design magazines and the hotel sets a new standard in cleanliness on all surfaces seen! Paul or amazing host was both very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and places to see
