This hotel is a little dated but still beautiful

I loved this place and will definitely stay again. The staff were so pleasant and friendly. The location was great and undercover car park convenient. I had young children and found it all accommodating and safe.

Perfect location to walk everywhere in Port Douglas. Older facility but still clean and everything in working order. Nice pool and gardens around the property.

Loud music can make sleeping difficult. Rooms were very bright at night when trying to sleep.

The aircon broke down and the ceiling fans were useless. No laundry in the unit, only old coin operated machines in the car park.

Great pool and outdoor spa. Pleasant garden surroundings and shared undercover areas with library. Ideal location on Macrossan St, near all the retail shops and restaurants and protected from the afternoon winds. Easy onsite car parking. Friendly helpful staff.

You got a starter pack of tea coffee, milk, towels then if you wanted anymore you had to pay for it. There was no satellite tv (not super important) when they used to have it. They don’t clean unless you’re staying longer than a week. Spa pool pump was out of order. When I first arrived there was a tiny dead lizard on the floor ( I left his body in the window garden) however this would indicate that the floors were not properly cleaned. The pool area apparently used to have a slide and the concrete rock feature has the reinforcement rusting through in places. Not sure if this is a problem though. The place is a good place to stay but it’s a bit rundown, especially the pool area. Although the pool is still good and the spa water is heated. It isn’t too bad.

The room was a good sized room. Had a stove and microwave. This was the family room. You are a short walk to the markets, marina, shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The resort has seen better days and would be magnificent with a refresh. The rooms were very clean and well presented but definitely could use some TLC and updating.

The resort and location was so lush, tropical and relaxing. The resort was convienient to town and a short stroll to the perfect location to watch an absolute magical sunset. The room was fully self contained, spacious and relaxing. Great price point for the kind of facilities and location right in the heart of Port Douglas.

It would be helpful to have the lift go to the 3rd floor. It was not easy carrying our luggage up the stairs to our room. The ventilation fan in the toilet came on at odd hours of the night. It was quite loud. There needs to be some sort of curtaining across the glass blocks in the bathroom to stop the light entering the main room at night when sleeping. It was too bright.

The room was very spacious and the balcony with the kitchenette was brilliant. A lovely view from the balcony. Loved the fans on the balcony and inside as well as we didn't always need the air-con. The pool was lovely but needed a few more lounge chairs. Club Tropical was very central to everything that we needed. Will come again and hopefully get the same room.

Aircon vents were dirty but staff were immediately onto this, once pointed out.

Great location, room was super comfy for a long stay. Great outlook. Loved the pool area and staff were all so very helpful from the moment we contacted them until we left. Very helpful with recommending trips suited to us.
