The room wasn’t overly clean. There was still hair on the floor and in the shower of the ensuite bathroom and I went to put the fan on in that room and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever. It was filthy, dust flew all over the bed and my hay fever set off immediately from the dust

Mattress was very soft (personally prefer a firmer mattress). Blanket also quite light and not warm enough for the changing season.

The extraction fan in the bathroom and laundry seemed to stay on, but closing the door meant we couldn’t hear it. Bit pricey, perhaps because there were surf carnival and foodie events on. The sofa was uncomfortable and saggy, dining table is damaged and looks shabby.

Very roomy, lovely view over the ocean, no traffic noise surprisingly, though it was very blustery weather and that probably drowned it. Ensuite bathroom was spacious. Bed was comfy, room quiet. The pool below was big, and looked inviting but it was cool weather, so didn’t get a chance to try it.

The cleaning was not the best. We had to use only one side of the wardrove because the doors were very difficult to move. Someone entered the appartment to replace a light bulb without notice.

The whole apartment block is looking a bit tired inside and has obviously been well used especially in the corridors to the rooms. These need a paint and some doors and locks replaced. The sliding doors in apartment could do with some maintenance or WD40 to make them easier to open. It’s annoying not to be able to open the building front door from your room after hours and having to go down to let family in. The cost was expensive for 13 nights for 2 people considering supplies were so stingy, which l found disappointing. 1 dishwashing liquid sachet , one dishwashing tablet/powder, 1 washing machine powder, 2 toilet rolls each bathroom … that’s it for 14 days!

The view from this apartment was exceptional - an uninterrupted ocean view and a wonderful full view of the coastline down towards Noosa, with a balcony to enjoy it even more. It rained non stop for 7 days whilst there, so being stuck inside the view was very important to us. The apartment was light and bright and the location was great, just a hop, skip and a jump to town, surf club, beaches. It was very clean and well fitted out, but could do with a bit of a paint in some areas. The furnishings were good, comfy couches, lots of cushions and well decorated. I’d say the kitchen has been updated at some stage and it is large and had everything you need to prepare meals for many people! The Indian Restaurants downstairs was a bonus and has great food.

Overall cleanliness - significant levels of dust around door frames, on wall hangings, bed frames, and window sills. A bath mat was found in the washing machine and was mouldy from a previous stay. Plumbing issue - The ensuite basin tap spout was not securely fastened and would pop off if water pressure was higher than a drizzle. No basic cooking supplies - plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery and glassware, however no basic cooking condiments (e.g oil).

Excellent Location - easy walk to everything nearby. Amazing Views - unobstructed ocean and mountain views from both the huge balcony and bedrooms. Spacious rooms.

The decor is a little outdated and the car park a little tight in places if you have a big car.

Staff were super accommodating. The room was spacious, fully contained and clean, more than comfortable for our two night stay. Great location close to shops and cafes and right across the road from the beach. Worth paying a little extra for an uninterrupted ocean view.
