Needs maybe a bit of paint. maybe some breakfast options. Bit of a walk into town the hill is fairly steep.

we have stayed here a couple of times. Its a bit dated and could do with some upgrades. i see its for sale so maybe this will happen. The water pressure in shower is good and i like the autumn leaf tiles. rooms are warm and cozy with a fridge and microwave. beds are comfortable. Cant think of anything else.

We paid for a deluxe room and got a budget room. Shower recess small.

Closeness to town. Friendly owners. Bed was comfy and extra pillows, electric blanket and extra quilt if required but one on bed was very warm. Wall heater works great. Enough tea bags which is good as we are tea drinkers.

Motel is up for sale and therefore not much done to it. Cracks on shower door, tiles lifted in bathroom. Motel surrounds were scruffy.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

Shower too small and water not hot enough. Also don’t like separate hot and cold taps in bathroom sink.

The service and cost .. though it would have been cheaper to book with them direct .. which is what I’ll be doing next time.

They might like to check the hinges of the door (on room 6)"- had to lift the door to get it to close properly. Paintwork throughout was pretty poorly done (if they want to improve the appearance of the room).

The shower was great. It was close to the town centre. TV was a good size and reception was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

The fridge and microwave needed a good clean, they accidentally left the previous room occupant's stuff in the fridge. Other than that it was fine.

Basic motel with super comfy beds! The beds and bathroom were very clean. Walking distance to the pub and cafes. Good for a one nighter on the way through to somewhere. The owners are lovely.

This is budget accommodation and should be viewed in that context, however we did find the shower a little small so those of generous proportions may find it a little tight. Not a real criticism though, more an observation.

Location was fine for us as we had events to attend in Maryborough so not far away. There is no disputing the Motel is dated, however our room looked to have been given a bit of a refresh and was clean and tidy which was all we really needed. Comfortable bed, clean linen and tea/coffee facilities which are the required basics for us. For the price you don't expect five star, but we found our stay quite okay and wouldn't have an issue staying again. Checked in and Checked out without issue.

Kate made me feel most valued and welcome the moment I arrived. The motel room itself, although dated (which for me had it's own retro charm, anyway), was comfortable and spotless. Enjoyed my meal at the local Clunes Hotel, which Kate had recommended; staff here also extra friendly...Clunes Motel was a perfect peaceful stopover for me as a marriage celebrant and nearby Daylesford, where I officiated a Sunday morning wedding, was only 30 minutes drive away. I'll be back for sure!

The building exterior could be smartened but inside the room it was comfortable.
