Being located above the restaurants at Salt Village meant that of an evening, when we were sitting on the outdoor balcony we were directly exposed to the smells emanating from the various restaurants which was unpleasant at times. Nothing that can be done about this of course, but this is the only drawback of the apartment that I can think of.

The apartment was clean and well maintained, with all amenities available. The facilities were very good and the rooms were spacious. The pool was excellent and it was a very comfortable space for our family (5 people) to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.

Outdoor furniture was quite dusty. Little touches were missing - soap in the main bathroom, selection of teas etc. Netflix wasn't signed in on two of our TVs.

Lovely decor and layout. Furnished comfortably both indoors and outdoors. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Owners very accommodating to our last minute booking and late arrival.

I requested low fat milk when asked on two occasions prior to arrival, but still ended up with full cream in the fridge when we got there. Lack of instructions as to how to locate the apartment upon arrival for the first time - required directions to the lift

Once we had the app sorted for keyless entry, it all worked very well. Apartment was well set up and had a great outlook to the ocean and across the resort

Honestly - nothing.

The property was immaculate and very well appointed. Loved the extra touches and inclusions which we didn’t completely take advantage of; coffee machine and pods, milk, dishwashing/laundry detergent, board games, Netflix, tennis racquets, boogie board. Even an esky and Portacot! Great location - restaurants and shops below, park opposite and beach at the end of the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Mantra main pool was quite cold, so kids didn’t swim much.

it was a shame that the Mantra Kingscliff allows Smoking on balconies as it was very off putting, didn’t realise people smoke constantly in small places these days, would of loved to of eaten outside on the balcony but the smell was over baring from the guests underneath, which was a shame as it was a great spot.

The layout of the unit is very warm and friendly. Well equipped. Sit on balcony with wine in hand and view ocean an the world go by. Although we didn’t use any there we’re board games, tennis racquets, beach towels etc provided. Home away from home. Great communication and easy access to check in and gain access to unit. Would definitely use again.
