The kitchen could do with some updating. The outdoor lighting could be improved. The furniture in our room could do with updating due to wear and tear etc.

The location was excellent for the fishermen. The birds were exceptionally friendly. Staff were very helpful.

Bed noisy, the units needing restoration like the outdoors wooden chairs in the pool look fragile like about to break, needing painting or new chairs. The spa was not working. No staff assistance with that. Everyone tried to activate it...ain't working. It is an old place. Will take a lot of money to refurbish it.

Location most of all. I like it was clean. We always try to make the most of the places we stay. We knew after booking it that it was an old place. Didn't cancel the booking so. We had a great weekend.

Mattress was on the thin side, not very comfortable

Front door lock needs repairing or replacing as it was at times difficult to lock, there needs to be a mat beside the bed to wipe any floor grit before getting into bed and some cloths hooks and towel rack in bathroom would be nice.

I liked the garden/bush setting with the Peacocks roaming around, the place was easy to find and the room was large as well as the the shower/toilet, I had the disable shower room.

Free Wifi only near the pool area. We did not get to use. We did not bother to go back to the reception to ask for the password. Would be great if the password was given upon check in. A clock by the spa button would be good. Their Bistro is temporarily closed. No shops/cafes nearby. BYO face washer, clothes hanger, shampoo. Walk to the parking area from our unit. No designated parking per room. We did not get to use the shared kitchen and laundry - too lazy to walk there.

It was a proper comfortable double bed (not a conjoined single bed) and the pillows were perfect to our liking. Reception staff was very nice and accommodating. Quick and smooth check in. I think it was the same person who answered my after-hours call and granted our request re: parking - without hassles (when the parking area within the premises was full). Keep it up bro. Quick/hassle free check out. Just dropped the key into a box outside the office/reception. The pool was nice and clean.

I had to go home a day early and was not given a refund because I didn’t advise of my need to depart before 10am. I never got the news that I needed to leave until midday- Very disappointed in that ruling.

No Wi-Fi. There is hardly anything in the area in terms of restaurants, bars etc but good location if you’re going to Fraser Island

There could have been more garbage bags supplied, only one for the whole week.

There was plenty of room for my granddaughter and myself. The beds were comfortable, and the air con worked well as the weather was quite hot and humid. The bathroom was large and there were enough towels supplied for our weeks stay.

No hand soap, no kitchen tap, no cutlery, no cooking facilities in the cabin, the aircon remote in bedroom was missing, bed was quite hard and couch was very small. We would come again but get a different room next time but for the weekend it was fine. There was also one switch on the outside of the bed that didn't seem to turn on anything.

The grounds were beautiful and it felt very nature-esk, especially with the peacocks calling out to one another and it was an absolute delight seeing them outside. Two of them came right up to our back door and hung out next to us for ages.

It was very hot when I stayed and whilst there are ceiling fans (no air con), the building airflow design traps the air and it remains unpleasantly hot in the room and kitchen area. Site rules do not permit the external doors to be opened to encourage air flow. It’s in quite an isolated spot, you will need to use a taxi to get to and from the greyhound stop which is about 6km away. The shower hot water is exceptionally hot and may scald if you are not careful. There is no WIFI / internet access.

In terms of value for money I did get exactly what I paid for - bed for the night, washing and cooking facilities. The pool is nice, there are onsite facilities for laundry, the grounds are very pretty with peacocks inquisitively roaming around.

Room wasn’t that nice. For two bedroom family room there was no kitchen facilities, toaster etc, cutlery.

The park style privacy of the resort was nice. Nice gardens.

Room was like a prison cell, beds were like foam and I seemed to sink into the middle and feel everything. No aircon, fan sounded like it would fly off and chop us up and leaving the fly door open meant you could hear everyone walking back and forward. Lighting was bad and couldn't barely see anything. Tried to sit round the pool but was full of young males fighting and splashing us and shouting. 1 key for 2 persons so meant having to stay together when you even needed a key for the toilet or a shower. Deposit was $20 for the 1 key.
