The other patrons partied most of the first night, and on the 2nd afternoon, we couldn’t get our car park as bike riders from Sydney kept taking our parking area, leaving us very little room to park our vehicle. This had nothing to do with the staff or motel in anyway.

We didn’t have breakfast as it was too late to order. The motel was nice and clean. The lady at reception was lovely to talk to and went out of her way to ensure we knew what to do as we arrived later than expected 😊

The Motel was great, but about 10-15 drive from the city. Some softer pillows would have been nice.

A very nice Motel on the southern end of Cairns. A major shopping centre just down the road. Ideal for people going to Cannon Park Racecourse, as it's across the road. Spacious and very comfortable rooms. There's also a pool in the complex.

Second room was kind of a kitchen there was tiles on the floor and it wasn’t look great. It was feeling that you sleep in the kitchen

The bed was down hill on one side. Reception wasn't open at arrival or departure. Suppose to be an upgrade of room and I looked out on a backyard of rubbish.

There are notices in your room and reception saying that services to rooms have been suspended due to Covid – so don’t expect your room to be serviced. We stayed for 4 nights and we arrived in Room 3 to a musty smell. We assumed it had been empty and opened all the windows and doors. After we switched on the airconditioner before going to bed we realised that a lot of water was dripping out of the air conditioner onto the carpeted floor in the corner of the room!! The carpet was well soaked so this was not a new problem. We were able to change rooms the next day, but only after putting a lot of pressure on Chloe who did not want us to change rooms!!. On the second day we wanted to use the laundry which we had been told by Chloe was open until 6:30 pm. We spoke to Chloe at 5:45 pm and she informed us that it was too late to use the laundry as she was closing up for the day. After another discussion, she agreed to let us use the laundry and told us she would get back to us in 10 minutes. 10 minutes came and went and there was no sign of Chloe - nor did she respond to the night bell. To be fair, Chloe seemed to be the only staff member at this motel – this is woefully inadequate if you are operating a full-service motel! We were moved to Room 6 where we found numerous small cockroaches from the wardrobe with the broken door, the bathroom from behind the tissue dispenser and under the sink, and the cupboard housing the plates and cutlery.

The motel is located just a 10-minute drive to the centre of Cairns. The rooms are spacious and well designed with a comfortable bed, enormous flat screen TV and spacious ensuite. The room was equipped with coffee & tea making facilities, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery which was fantastic because we had our own breakfast. This is a good budget option for a stay in Cairns, if you don’t mind the lack of service and if you have your own wheels.

1 chair for 2 people Had to buy batteries for tv remote control 1 Pillow was like a slab of concrete. Went and bought 2 pillows. not enough tea and coffee for 1 person, let alone 2.

Power went out for over an hour and no one came to ask if I was ok or to offer torch/candle etc. Expected better customer service.

Room wasn't exceptionally clean. Wifi didn't work at all, and the phone reception in the room was very weak. People were smoking next door to our room (literally under a huge sign "Non smoking area"), and chatting to the manager at the same time.

The location was close to a shopping mall. The shower had good pressure.
