We had booked two apartments and had requested that both the apartments be on the same floor. Got an email from the facilities advising that because 2 of the 2 bedroom apartments are not available on the same floor so they have upgraded us to one three bedroom apartment so that we can be on the same floor. When we reached the facility we found out that the appartments were on different flours. If we would have been told in advance, we might have cancelled and booked somewhere else. But we’re not told and only found out after we checked in.

Outdoor swimming Pool was very cold. But there was an Indoor heated Pool.

The Apartments were very spacious with spectacular views. Walking distance to the Beach, Surf Club and Tedder Avenue Cafes. The Building and Gardens were very well maintained

Firstly the staff were extremely rude and not only was the place filthy ( I have photos) loud music from the unit underneath till midnight, I was told it’s not a holiday place it’s primarily for Permanent Residence so beware don’t expect hospitality! I could feel the vibration of the bass on the kitchen bench! And was charged full price., no apology. Your given a number to contact the property they need to state emergency only and don’t call after certain time because when I called about the noise I was spoken to like I’d just committed a crime! Please be aware !! The poor service put a dampener on our whole holiday. The unit was old, run down nothing like the pictures on booking.com definitely not luxury appartments as advertised.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with spectacular 180 degree views of the GC hinterland and ocean. Local cafe, the winey cow was great too. We visited twice!

No toilet paper and only have A/C in the lounge and not in any rooms

Was advised that partial airconditioning means there are separate aircons on living room and bedrooms, we arrived and no aircon on rooms... we would have not booked if that is the case... the aircon in the lounge is leaking! called their customer care and was advised to turn it off and just open the doors to have air etc well we did book for convenience and we want aircon called on Sat and no maintenance in the weekend etc. door is almost falling apart in one bed room. shower is not comfy and it is warm in the apartment so not comfy at all. Emailed them to see as we think we left something and no response... terrible experience and we will not come back.

The apartment is nothing short of stunning. Alot of money has been spent here, getting everything just right! The furniture and fittings are quality! The owners have put so much thought into every detail! Seriously this apartment is above and beyond! The manager was so welcoming, check in was a breeze!

Having to leave Slight mould issues in bathroom/bedroom/kitchen Mop would be useful as ensuite shower would leak water onto the tiles.

We stayed at Contessa several times. Our apartment this time on the 21st floor was by far our favourite. Well configured apartment which was well equipped. Views of beach / river. Great facilities. Quiet building with lots of friendly residents.

the windows/doors of the apartment were filthy x clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months and the apartment smelt old and musty i could feel the springs in the mattress …and I weight 5kg …so I would hate to be any larger because it would have been an even worse sleep

The room I was given was not what they advertise. It was filthy with food scraps in the fridge and oven an entire bin full of stinking rubbish under the sink. Blood and toilet paper on the floor. Manager refused to rectify this nor offer another room. $300+ per night for utter filth. I'm taking this to booking.com for an entire refund for false advertising and health and safety Ruined my surprise for my daughter on her wedding weekend

you have to turn the hot water tap on for 10 mins each morning before the hot water comes through, the window pains on balcony are priorly fitted and rattle. Bedroom grooves were filty and covered in dust. Bathrooms especially off master bedroom were far too old and it seems the mould on the roof is simply wiped rather than treated. Tv remotes were dog chewed and didnt work .... the list goes on

Another return visit to my favorite Main Beach apartments. Wonderful staycation with good weather. Friendly staff, great pools, sauna, spa with best outdoor grounds by far. Thanks Contessa, three more apartments booked for our Wedding Anniversary in September, cant wait.
