Ideal location in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. Bus stop nearby. Our room was clean and comfortable and reasonably quiet.

A lot of noise all night long, people cooking and chatting loudly at 2 AM. I think this happens because there are people living permanently there.

The mattresses in the pods are really bad. I could barely sleep on them, it was like laying on wood. And the bathroom downstairs was a bit dirty. The fly in the soap was never removed in 2 weeks. Even though everything else was nicely cleaned.

The location is perfect. Coogee Beach is one of the best places in Sydney. The personell is really really nice and the vibe in the hostel is great.

I bit messy in the halls but it gave it a good hostel vibe as well. A bit misleading around the breakfast, didn’t understand which milk was to use for the included breakfast. Could be better signs to indicate what is for the common use

Very hard to climb on the top bed, definitely not accessible . There is also a big stairs to go up the rooms with your luggage it’s a bit hard . The rooms are a bit small and gray, some colors would be much nicer ! No shelf to put your toiletries in the shower , a small improvement would make it easier .

Great location near the beach and cafes . It’s great to have curtains and a plug as not all hostel do that . Matress are comfy .

Found it hard having no air conditioning or fans in rooms because of the summer conditions but I suppose for price I paid it’s justifiable not to have them. Lots of flies in the kitchen and fridge

It was a bit noisy when I stayed, probably it depends on who is renting the other rooms. People were screaming on the floors…

It’s a cute house right around the corner of the beach. I love the style. Staff was very friendly.

I never like it when hostels don’t have curtains on the bed for privacy I have never understood why they don’t to be honest would exactly cost much, especially considering what Australians hostels charge.

The location is perfect to explore the beaches of coogee etc.

The pillows were a bit rubbish and stopped me sleeping as well as I could have in what were actually pretty comfortable beds, and quite a few of the taps weren’t working in the bathrooms. Apart from that I’d defo recommend

The staff were amazing and very helpful. Easy to check in and out. Beds were a good size and the location was so convenient right next to the beach, shops and bars.

No parking available- on street parking was limited to 1 hour, 4hours across the Rd paid parking or 5 min walk for free parking. The price was ($150) a night which was a bit high for shared bathroom (with backpackers). But it was as advertised so no surprises there

I would very much recommend this hostel as a budget stay in Sydney where you get complimentary breakfast as well.The rooms facilities were pretty good except that it was a bit small for 4 people to reside together. There was the laundry table and a big mirror just opposite to my room which came as an extra luxury for me. Talking about the location I would say its located a few meters from the Coogee beach and the bus stop too is located just outside the hostel from where you can board buses to different places. Once you step out of the hostel you will find a lot of good eateries and that too different varieties to grab and hence there's no worries about food. However, its located a little far away from the Sydney CBD as it takes around 40-45 minutes to reach Circular Quay(Opera House) via the light rail. So if someone wants to stay in a quiet place then the location is perfect to choose. Also its not very far from the international airport. Plus the kitchen in the hostel facilitated to cook and store food on our wish. The hygiene and cleanliness was properly maintained in the whole place. You can also dry your clothes out in the balcony. However, laundry is chargeable.

One of the bathrooms sink didn’t work. The other one had sick in it. One bathroom the lights were out. The bed was hard.
