The kitchen is dirty and the room I lived in still had some food in it when I arrived and had mould in it because the fridge had been turned off. The room was big but old. Could use a makeover

This time a lot of noise. People up late, talking loudly and slamming doors every time they went to their room 10.15 pm to at least 11pm.

I had a front single room which was quite noisy with people coming & going through the main door, so earplugs could be a go if your are sensitive to sound. None of the windows opened in that room too so no fresh air flow. The fan in the celling helps.

Great location, friendly staff, fairly good facilities, close to shops, bus stop, and 5min walk to beach. Room was clean. Had a fridge which woke me up… I think I’m sensitive to sound.

Backyard seating area had a few cockroaches/bugs so maybe could clean backyard more frequently. Other than that, overall fairly clean

The room was so hot despite having a ceiling fan, made it really hard to sleep. Kitchen was very unclean for most of the stay, people’s stuff everywhere in the bathroom and in the fridges. Bathrooms were also very dirty and not cleaned throughout our stay, lots of people’s old belongings not thrown away. There’s lots of rules at the property but they don’t really seem to be enforced re cleaning dishes, labelling food bags etc. The bed was also incredibly squeaky and wobbly and not very comfortable

No air conditioning. The room we had was always very warm, made it very difficult to sleep. There was a fan on the ceiling but it just circled the hot air in the room. Not major, but there was no mirror in the room, had to go to the bathroom for the one mirror to use in there.

The location was just perfect! 2 minute walk from the beautiful Coogee beach, lots of public transport nearby. Lovely vibe in the hostel, good cooking facilities and kept consistently clean.

The rating would be much higher if the place wasn't so worn down. Lockers were broken for most rooms. The madress has definitely served its time and should be exchanged. The pod could use a socket. The ventilation in the pod is quite minimal.

The pillow was a bit flat to sleep on which is bad for my as I have acid reflux. But I elevated my head to account for this.

It was dirty, rooms are super small, the backyard was messy, there is not enough place for the people they want to host! All luggages were in the aisle

The pod was really well organised with different lights, plus, table and mirrors. Wifi was fast and also the location is good for the ones who want to enjoy coogee beach. There is a box where to storage your stuff. Kitchen was ok.

My room was right at the front of the building, right next to the main door and street. While I expected street noises. I didn’t anticipate the amount of noise after 10 pm. The door keycodes are loud and the doors opening and closing are loud. The room wasn’t cleaned super well. The bed was comfy, but not as clean as it could be. The bed frame is dirty on the posts. The kitchen wasn’t super clean.

I LOVED the location. I loved the staff. The shower room was clean and pressure was great! I liked the organization of the kitchen and the commitment to keeping up with expiring food.
