The host was fantastic ! He was so friendly and we always saw him smiling. He offered help and his good mood spread ! The accomodation was relaly nice, the property was so beautiful, we felt right at home and extended our stay as a consequence.

The whole place was beautiful. The dining room had tea, coffee, milk and cereal available. Also a toaster and kettle. Cooked breakfast was also available for an additional charge. It was beautifully presented.

Wasn't anything we didn't like. The hotel did the job we booked it for and we really enjoyed the stay.

Tom was very friendly and inviting on arrival and made us feel welcome. The hotel has a unique quirkiness about it, colourful and pretty.

Lovely place to stay for a rest on a road trip. Bright colours, nice garden & refreshing pool. Very clean and comfortable bed. Nicely decorated and very quiet. Short drive to beach & Lagoon which is nice in the morning.

Small room for money and not enough implements couldn’t wash dishes or prepare food easily in the central dining kitchen area provided but managed parking out the back odd misleading ads and pictures thought we would be closer to beach

The outdoor facilities were excellent, beautiful clean sand in a large covered sandpit, and the pool glistened! Lots of outdoor seating, fabulous lawned gardens. The aviary and aquarium were a real treat for the children. The dining room offered us the ability to easily prepare our meals. I will definitely stay there again.

I honestly can’t think of anything that could be better

I didn’t expect the property to be so well kept. The owners have made a great job to make the inn feel very welcoming and homely but at the same time like a beach vacation.

For a 4 person 'unit' there wasnt even any room for our bags. Milk was off that they supplied and kettle full of ants. We were in Yeppoon for work, arriving to the room at 10pm each night and leaving at 7 in the morning, got hardly any sleep due to parties along the street, music, yelling etc. When we called to ask the reception if there was any other rooms available, we were cut off and told NO we are booked out, very abrubt response and no offer for help at all. Came home after work more tired. We travel all of the time and use motels all of the time, very dissapointed and wont stay again.

Very small room, no storage and hardly even room to walk around bed once luggage was in. Only one bedlight. Car/taxi needed to get into Yeppoon town centre

On the afternoon I was due to fly in I contacted the company to advise them that my flight had been delayed and that I may be late getting there. I was told that I would not be able to get in if I arrived later than 9pm. I had not control over when I was arriving; and there was no alternative access after 9pm; no key box..nothing. If I had arrived later i would have had to source further accommodation although I had already paid for the night. There was no notification on the company website or on the booking.com site advising that you have to be in by 9pm. This should have been written somewhere so that people who have the potential to arrive late into Rocky late are aware that they may have to source alternative accommodation.

we loved everything.

stunningly clean. staff were so helpful and friendly. a lovely accessible room which I have to say is harder to find than you think. the room for accessibility is one of the better I have found. LOVED the aviary and aquarium. the decor inside and out was refreshingly unique.  A beautiful community atmosphere that is also very private. We also appreciated making use of the dining room facilities to have our meals at night.
