Obviously the lack of ensuite Rooms could have a new paint and plaster job done

The old hotel was surprisingly comfy for a night. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was kept very clean. Breakfast cereal provisions provided and the common room area was appreciated. Hope to see the building preserved and restored as it is a great old place. Didnt see or hear the resident friendly ghost. Nearby Capellas' is a beautiful spot for dinner.

Possums living on the room or within the wall. They were making noise the entire night which made it very hard to sleep.

No map or communication as to where the share bathrooms are. No signage in hallways to help either so wondering around blindly. No communication on how to enter or exit the hotel outside of operational hours. TV didn't work at all, tried multiple antenna scans for even just 1 channel.

The doors are a fire hazard. They need to get them fixed before someone dies trying to escape their room

The first room we were booked to stay in smelled strange, but the woman moved us quickly to another room, which was fine. No refund on the difference though.

There were birds in the roof directly above us which made noise all night and we could hear them scrambling throughout the night which was very disruptive.

We had a very good experience except 1 small detail. the rooms were very clean and for the price had very good amenities for the price which we were very impressed by. We also found the beds to be quite comfortable

Door lock needs attention. Tele didn't have signal sunday/Sunday night. The stairs. Air con filter needed attention. I cleaned it.

The room was above the pool room n disc music till late. Other noise till after 1am. The entry via back door very ordinary especially in the dark. The ladies bathroom was far away.

Hotel looked clean and tidy. Nice linen and coffee and tea. Friendly staff.

Very old building so cant expect modern luxuries, the door was a little different to close/lock. Some teaspoons/ dessert spoons would have come in handy for cuppas and breakfast instead of only soup spoons.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly even extending our checkout time, great view overlooking the town, the blackout curtains worked a treat.

I would like to see dish detergent, a cloth and T-towel in the room, for our own washing up. There also needs to be some hooks for hanging up clothes and towels in the room. We couldn't get a spare room key, also when we were there no WIFI was available. We were also diappointed that we couldn't get food at the hotel.

The rooms and bathroom have been renovated, so are reasonably modern. There is a large common room. Access after hours was easy. Our room had a blocked sink, which was attended to immediately.

Historic hotel in the centre of town. Given the age of the building, the room was well renovated. Well appointed bathroom although it was shared. Lovely shower.

The music from downstairs played very loudly until close at 2am. In the particular room I stayed in (11) it was like the dukebox was in my pillow.
