Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaBooked Crown as we were looking forward to swimming in the beautiful pool. Nothing was mentioned in the booking that the pool was closed. It was my 50th Birthday gift to myself and my family. I was very impressed and very unhappy. We had to tredge all thru the casino in our swimwear to use the pool at Metropol only to find our room swipe cards wouldn't let us up to pool level after reception said the cards would allow us. Had to varify ourselves with Metropol reception and they had to come give us access in the lift. Was not the birthday I had planned. Was very disappointed.
Loved the soft beds. Staff were very lovely.

Fabulous room with everything you need for a luxurious stay in Melbourne. Great facilities and a variety of restaurants in the Crown complex. Breakfast was delicious.

United KingdomThe bathroom doors were quite heavy and a bit annoying to open and close but this is just a minor point. The swimming pool was also shut while we were staying at the hotel.
The room was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the wardrobe area which was very easy and functional. The staff were also very helpful and friendly at the front desk which added a nice touch.

AustraliaI sent an email a month in advance stating that I normally decorate the room for my partner but we were away for his birthday this year and I had a reply stating that the hotel would help me with this with no further cost but nothing was done in the room and nothing was in the notes at the desk, apart from that it was a lovely stay
