The fire was not able to be used. Understand it was right on the change of season and why the fire was not ready. Easy fix , we will be back again in the cooler months

A beautiful home in a peaceful spot with great views. Comfy bed & cosy lounge by the fire. So many lovely touches & everything has been thought of. Loved the garden, chickens & guinea fowls. Our dog Stevie thoroughly enjoyed staying here too.

Nothing of note, hard to find fault

The cottage itself, the heating, the lovely garden, the interesting Guinea Fowl, plenty of wood and fire was set when we got there, everything had an explanation which was great, the breakfast provisions and fresh fruit was excellent. Good selection of wine glasses. Great modern bathroom. Extra toilet was a bonus. Having our dog was a treat. The early entry and late exit times were fantastic.

There was nothing to fault.

The cottage is located in a picturesque and peaceful setting and is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. There were generous food provisions and a bottle of local sparkling was waiting on our arrival for our birthday celebrations. The sign at the front door welcoming the three of us was a thoughtful touch. We appreciated the log fire which kept the cottage warm during the crisp autumn nights.

Fantastic location. Near to towns and attractions but feels like you are millions of miles away when at the cottage. Great breakfast provisions, fantastic place to go for country walks, front verandah and rear gazebo area great places to enjoy a cuppa or glass of bubbly. After you visit once you will want to return.

This was a gorgeous property oozing with charm. The owners had skillfully blended the old with the new (including quality appliances and fittings) and had decorated in an eclectic, quirky but stylish manner. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with equipment and utensils and the breakfast provisions were generous and delicious. There were special thoughtful details throughout that made this property really stand out from the many others we have visited over the years. The property is secluded and peaceful, but still very accessible for all the Clare Valley has to offer. We were warm and comfortable (reverse-cycle heating in all the bedrooms and a wonderful combustion stove in the lounge) and would not hesitate to recommend the property.
