The cottage is wonderful and peaceful, it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect for a nature lover or if you like hiking as you have one of the best walks practically on your doorstep. Springbrook is a wonderful town to stay in.

You can't beat the Dancing Waters Cottage location. You walk out the front door and you are at Purlingbrook hiking trails. The host Anastasia went out of her way to make our stay one to remember. I especially loved the complementary cappuccino and scones/carrot cake on a daily basis. The cottage was cosy. It had a self contained kitchen and large upstairs area consisting of bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. We highly recommend the Dancing Waters Cottage/Cafe.

The Pub down the road wasn’t open Sat night but fortunately we had brought food supplies with us.

The location is excellent for walking the Purlingbrook falls trail. It was really convenient being next to the Cafe and having lovely scones with our coffee each morning. Breakfast was supplied for us and we had cooking facilities which made it convenient to self cater for lunch and dinner.

The kitchen has a convection microwave and a small movable induction hot plate but I couldnt find a fry pan to use on it. There was an electric fry pan so used that but not quite what I wanted to cook a steak.

Nice accomodation attached to the Cafe - neat and tidy. Right next to the entrance to the Purling Brook Falls. Some basic breakfast provided being museli and bread for toast. The owner also gave us some lovely scones and hot drinks from the cafe in the morning.

Bathroom smelt a little musty and also there was a musty smell in bedroom. But air freshener was supplied and it was easy to get airflow through windows. The kitchen would benefit from having another set of shelves or even a little bench under the stairs - the storage unit there now is a bit small and impractical. The kitchen tap had a faulty lever but you didn’t need it to operate the tap.

Lovely location next to National Park. Accomodation is in a very cute two storey house, which is also a cafe. Owner is very friendly and food and coffee at cafe is great. Flat was very quiet in the morning and late afternoon and night, but it is noisy at lunchtime due to cafe. Shower has really good pressure and good hot water. Kitchen also has portable induction cooktop and frypan, but we didn’t use them. The beds were comfortable. The lounge upstairs was very cosy.

Was pretty warm/ humid during the day with no air conditioning, but cools down at night time. A few spider webs and bugs, but somewhat expected being next to the rainforest.

The host was lovely, and offered some delicious carrot cake and some good tips about hiking the local area. Good value. Offered some basics for breakfast: bread and muesli, but I had brought my own.

Nothing. But to inform others - there are only basic kitchen items but not a major problem as microwave and hot plate/frypan available. The shower over the bath may be a problem for someone with mobility issues

Great location and set up. Very tranquil and amongst the trees. Bath was a welcome bonus at the end of a cold day hiking. Very cosy and welcoming inside. Anastasia was a great host - Present but not overbearing and she makes the best scones and coffee on the mountain

Can't recommend this cottage enough! The second you walk through the door, you know you have made the right choice. The host was incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel right at home straight away. The cottage will have everything you need for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. We went in winter and thankfully there were heaters in all the rooms and plenty of blankets to keep us warm but it never got that cold for us. Very conveniently located. Right next to the Purling Brook Falls trek, a café just up the road which has a few supplies if you forget to bring enough food and only a short drive to multiple other treks and trails. We even got complimentary scones and tea on our last day (best scones I've ever had!)

Affordable. Spacious bedroom, bath 🛁 bonus; comfy lounge in living room, where wi-fi, TV & cd player worked well. Fully equipped kitchen & dining room, downstairs. Heaters in all 4 rooms. Above cafe, where gracious host, Ana, along with Kathy & team were very welcoming; providing bonus fluffy, vegan scones & good coffee & soup! Cosy, quiet environment, surrounded by rainforest & national Park, with awesome walks at the doorstep! Will definitely re-treat myself again. Thanks heaps, Ana!

Took a while to heat but it is winter! Although there is a cafe on site the noise didn't bother us as it opens late and closes early and we were out during that time. Very quiet outside those hours.

Great location for our purposes (next to walking tracks). Warm scones and coffee in the morning from the on-site cafe. Apartment spacious with lovely bush views. Friendly and acommodating host.
