Wi-Fi was terrible! If strong, dependable Wi-Fi is important to you, best speak to the host prior to booking. Cabin was a bit darker than in the photos. Booked chalet #7 but was given chalet #6.

Well stocked kitchen. Had all the amenities we needed to cook all of our meals at home. Despite the cabins being next to one another, it felt very private. It was also very quiet. Lots of parking available. Within walking distance to Geoffrey Bay and Alma Bay. Ten minute drive to ferry terminal and Woolworths.

The onus is on the guest to leave the dishes clean (or pay a surcharge) so some of the dishes weren't washed properly. Fry pans had been abused and probably could do with being replaced. An outdoor clothes airer/line for each unit for stuff like wet swimwear would have been handy.

Dinner plates didn’t fit the dish washer but everything was provided for us to wash dishes by hand. A rangehood would be useful to avoid setting off fire alarm.

Clean, unit was close to swimming pool, loved the gardens and birdlife. Offered a serene, relaxing experience with nature.

It was a bit more of a walk to the beaches then we expected. Especially on hot days with kids. Both of the beaches nearby are beautiful though. We are a family, so Arcadia was nice and quiet but if you are younger I would suggest Nelly or Horseshoe bay.

The actual place was very nice, a shaded pool was great for the kids. Our room was also right outside the pool. We arrived early from the ferry and they allowed us to leave our luggage while the room was being cleaned. Room was very spacious. We highly suggest going to the road races if you are here on a Wednesday. They are just down the street.

Very clean, beautiful gardens, natural setting. Laundry had beach towels rather than bathing towels to use for swimming. Books and games for families. Access to transport right out front of the venue.

There were ants in the kitchen, but could’ve been due to location. Our wifi didn’t work for 2/3 of the days so maybe bare in mind as travellers if you have data or not!

The room was amazing, very spacious with big balcony and living area. Really clean, and in a great location (5 min walk to some wallabies and only 30 min walk to next bay).

Dandaloo Gardens provide very good value holiday villas in Arcadia on Magnetic Island. We had two villas and both had a main queen bed and a sofa bed. Each had a kitchen with a stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster and full size fridge. There was a dining table in each room. The beds were comfortable and the gardens were well kept and tropical. The pool was great and my kids enjoyed a swim. There was also a BBQ area but we didn't use that. Roxanne the host was friendly and helpful when we spoke to her and we could contact her by mobile if needed. Great for families and those who want to do some self-catering.
