Soap for hand wash basin, as being recently post pandemic , I thought this would be a given.

Location was ideal, accommodation suited my purpose, reasonable price & cheerful. Very good quality linen/towels provided.

My room was between workers who left very early and a very loud motorcycle, which isn’t so bad and generally can’t be helped but the walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING, including the snoring in the next room, tv in the next room , conversations in the next room, toilet/shower amenities in the next room. Was very self conscious of any noise coming from my room.

Could not check in easily. Number on desk being unattended was useless as it just rang phone at desk (which is unattended!). Had to walk outside and around through the front and line up at the bar four times to check in! Girls were unhelpful. No WIFI, TV did not work in the room and no bath mat/s. Next day couldn’t find anyone to ask only the chef who sorted the bath mat/s. Very very disappointing indeed as have stayed here previously and have been staying at the Tavern…. We will be returning to the Tavern I’m afraid after this…

A visiting bowling club decided to set up a party outside their rooms. Unfortunately sound travels and the wine infused cackling and singing was far too loud for our comfort. This is hardly your fault, although it would have been good if onsite staff could have asked them to quiet them down a bit on behalf of all the other guests. The other thing I must comment on is that I have reduced mobility due to a reactive arthritis which makes it difficult to get up and down stairs. The lack of hand rails made it even more difficult, and unfortunately I took a pretty bad tumble. Again, not your fault, but hand rails could have prevented what was a hard fall on concrete.

My husband had chicken parmi on the Saturday night. OMG it was so huge he couldn't eat it. The bed was comfortable too.

To have to wait over 40 mins for a steak at dinner was unacceptable & food over priced.

Very hot rooms only a pedestal fan available no air conditioning. The restaurant had no steaks available on their menu unfortunately food was a bit ordinary. The menu was very limited for choice.

The rooms are very tired and in need of renovation. Clean and tidy but perfect examples of 1970 motel life. At $170 a night not really value for money but as it was a holiday weekend they could charge what they want.

Great location, friendly staff, close to the centre of town. It overlooks the Denmark River and the view is beautiful. Because the hotel is in a side street there is almost no street noise.

It could do with an update but at the end of the day it is a motel in a country town.

You get what you pay for in terms of comfort but the location is perfect if you want to be close to everything. I've stayed here multiple times and love the convenient location.

It does not have a cooling system, fan given was old and dusty, should have a proper fan or internal cooling system. Bed was stiff

It could have done with aircon or a better fan. I get that it is only hot in Denmark a few weeks a year and we timed it poorly, but it was really hard to get cool in the room.

The staff were lovely, the room was clean and for the price, a really nice location.

Bit outdated rooms, no wifi (bummer since reception isn't great). TV barely worked, poor quality connection. Whether that's the older TV or just a bad cable, didn't work great. Fairly expensive for what it is but it's that time of year I suppose (Late December), nowhere else had rooms. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room, mostly sleeping, so it served its purpose well.

TV didn’t work, asked a stuff member to fix, poor choice what to watch. Half of lights in the room didn’t work. Shower is badly leaking, floor was flooded each time when someone had shower. Thin walls and could hear what neighbours do. Laundry is not able to use. Stank and was disgusting with rotten clothes in it. Be ready to wash your clothes in the sink in your room. Although we didnt care about the room much but Never again.

Would say its more of a 2* than 3* Bedside lights didnt work. I would have liked a microwave in the room. It had just been taken over by new owners on the week of my stay and the main pub was already being painted, so maybe the motel rooms may get a referbishment too.

Denmark is a lovely little town Denmark hotel is right next to the centre of town and easy to walk around to the shops and cafe. Situated across the road from a lovely river and park area. Staff were very nice.
