How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

quite old cabin with tiny room to sleep. but understand the booked was economic room, so guess other newer cabin would be much better.
nice park walking distance to Clare visitor centre, close to local places.

Bed was a bit firm
Clean and comfy Cabin. Basic but equipped kitchen. Office staff were helpful. Park had lots of faciliities that we didnt use like playgrounds, camp kitchen etc, but these look good. Well located to do the Clare Riesling trail.

the first property was very old and more suitable for a school group. We had originally paid more and upgraded and paid premium price and this wasn’t reflected in the cabin.
the owner upgraded us (no charge) as we thought the 1st cabin was sub standard for what we had originally upgraded to, on Booking.com. The new property was much more appropriate and appreciated. the owner was delightful and very keen to make our experience excellent.

No complaints at all. Possibly only that the cabin was slightly overpriced for what it was.
Excellent service at reception. Was given great advice on what to do in the time we had in Clare and loved what we did. We booked an economy cabin - it was small but very clean, well located, had everything we needed and was comfortable. Even though we didn't have children with us, commented to my husband that the recreational facilities for children were excellent - my granddaughter (aged 4) would have loved it.

our stay this time was not long enough
All went well we were late arriving but everything was set out for us to get to our cabin which was clean tidy and comfortable

We had 6 staying in a cabin. We have stayed in cabins before; somehow this cabin is smaller than others we have stayed at... tolerated for 1 night, but we could not have a week at a park with our family size and this cabin size. The cabin was also absolutely frozen and struggled to heat up. They are the only complaints though. Would work better for a family of 4 (as whilst there were 6 bed spots - double & 2 bunks, our bags had to takeover the living room!)
Location is good, staff were friendly, park is good, especially for kids - jumping pillow, etc. Cabin was clean - just a bit small for us... good layout - 2 rooms - a double bed and 2 bunks... just needs a few more metres and space for bags to go.

I honestly couldn't fault anything with our stay.
We loved the outdoor fire place! We can't wait to come back when the weather is nicer.

For the size & age of the cabin (very small ensuite) not that either of us are obese & had a problem, I felt it was overpriced & thats what happens during school holidays. We were admiring the under cover BBQ area where a guy was starting the open fire & both went to say 'hello' (not to keep him talking) but I don't think he had any inention of acknowledgeing us. In hospitality it's the basics that are often missed.
Although small, cabin was clean & ok for two people for the one night. The setting of the park was very nice and the receptionist warm & friendly (as a receptionist should be) Location of cabin was fine.

As it was winter, the bed had cotton sheets but no electric blanket making it very cold in bed. Also very limited space to get into the bed due to the size of the bedroom. Heater in the standard studio unit was great and unit itself very neat and tidy.

Wi-Fi was very unreliable, constantly cutting in and out. Heating was ok but could be better

The air conditioner didn't work in the extreme cold. The filters were very dusty it could need a service.
