How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The bed was a little small for us tall people!
Check in was very easy, communication with the staff was excellent. The cabin was warm and clean, with everything we needed for self catering.

The cabin was clean but the toilet brush needed replacing and fans in bedroom would’ve been good

The beds were too soft for me and the kids bunks were too hard. The curtain to separate the room was marked with white paint or something else there was dirt and ear plugs under the main bed. No one to assist after hours,
The set out was nice. The BBQ area was great laundry facilities good and useful. Play ground was enjoyable

Friendly staff, fun activities for the kids Clean and spacious cabins. Quick drive into town and the airport. Pub a few minute walk away with a kids indoor play area The park was really nice and we would stay again

Unlike other Discovery Parks this location has a very limited options for Kids. With so limited facilities we booked apartment with much better bay view property and that too near to the CBD. Linen was not put on upper bunk bed in both the cabins that were allocated to us.
It was a 10 min drive from Hobart CBD. Nothing as such other than this.

It was a basic cabin and I found the stove a bit challenging so would have liked a barbeque included outside..I know there is a general barbeque area for patrons on the site so I guess you get what you pay for. The fridge was too small but it didnt matter as our son had a large one.
Self catered. Our son & family were in a more expensive apartment and we enjoyed dinners with them. There was plenty of hot water, adequate shower, comfortable bed, air conditioner, We booked late so were grateful to have accomm.

Only thing we would note is that how our cabin was laid out meant our kitchen window backed onto the cabin behind us smoking area and our neighbours seemed to be constantly out smoking so we couldn’t have it open while cooking and the fan wasn’t enough to stop the fire alarm going off (but hey that’s our bad cooking obviously and only a minor inconvenience outside the properties control, just something to note!)
Friendliest staff I have experienced in such a long time, had such a wonderful check in experience. Staff approachable and genuinely want to make your stay as great as they can. Cabins are clean, have had some modernising done and comfy bed!

Traffic noise but I was overtired and unfriendly ants outside once it started getting dark but you can get them elsewhere so not a huge deal The office hours weren’t accurate online

Mattress on bunks beds could be a little thicker, could feel wood planks. Especially when adults sleep on them. Look at the cleaning, noodles left in kitchen sink.
Friendly staff upon arrival and departing. Comfortable double size bed. Shower was good, easy to get into. Especially for people who can't lift legs etc over baths. Kids section away from cabins.

Hot water took awhile to come in at kitchen sink. We filled drink bottles and kettle to alleviate wastage
Super friendly and bubbly staff. Cabin had every thing we needed, was very clean and comfortable, and easy drive to city centre. The cabin park was tidy and well signposted, and catered for different levels of accommodation. Definitely be back, and sharing about our stay with others

The kids loved the bouncy pillow play area and their bunk beds. The kids fun packs were amazing. The cabin had everything we needed.
