My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is really suitable for a large group, especially with younger children. Lots of seating, inside and out so we could all spread out during our downtime, either sitting outside on the patio, watching telly on the beanbags or playing cards and games at the kitchen table. It was a really hot weekend, so we really appreciated the aircons and the many fans throughout the house. The little ones enjoyed the scooter and games in the garage too. Thanks Julia. You have a lovely, quirky holiday home.

Some of the features like the strange TV and airconditioning are pretty tired and could do with a refresh; while they work we thought the filters on the bedroom airconditioner definitely need cleaning!

Charming little rustic retirement property complete with old board games and books on fishing. Its well named; though not super fancy it has everything you need for a lovely break without worries. Close to beach, town and amenities. Lovely little backyard with strips of fake lawn for the kids to play on!

There was nothing I did not like. If I was being picky the main bedroom bed was quite soft - however that’s a personal preference.

Property was very quirky and unique. Everything was mix matched and cute things to find all over the house. Plenty of room and well set up

Excellent location. Could bring our dog. Back yard was secure to keep dog enclosed. Lots of hidden extras included with the house ie: pet bed, games, appliances etc

Due to the high wind outside there was a banging noise in the roof, something may need to be secured. Taps need some new washers to stop them dripping. Clothes airers 1 broken and the other quite flimsy.

Needs a larger hot water tank, but can work around it.

Quirky decor even comes with a singing fish plaque, it has just about every conceivable appliance if you don't want to eat out, we absolutely loved our stay here. It is close to everything, only a short stumble from the pub🤣🤣. Plenty of communication with the owner. Would love to see it with the upstairs open.

Host said there would be a baby cot, there was only a bassinet that wasn’t at all suitable. Cooking was tricky without a working stove and the facilities are very dated.

Location is perfect, very close to town and the beach/park.

No stove cook top, but every conceivable electrical appliance was available for a self-contained kitchen experience.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. She messaged on afternoon of arrival to check all was well; and again on the morning of departure to let us know that the cleaner wasn't coming until later so we could check out later if we wanted to. There was plenty of room on the property for parking, including our boat. Walking distance to the centre of town, shops, cafes, skate park, playgrounds, beach etc. Very family friendly experience - boards games etc included. Beds were very comfy!

The beds were uncomfortable for me and my wife .They were too soft . This is obviously a personal preference which doesn’t mean that for people who like very soft beds that there is a problem .

We liked everything about the property other than that which I have written about in the dislikes section .For what we paid we more than satisfied .

I was a little worried about the slightly overgrown garden and prickly weeds with my dog. I think the backyard could use some TLC. The backyard is huge however which is great.

The property was in a great location - an easy 10 minute walk to the main street (Sandpiper Tavern, bakery etc) and to the dog beach. There was plenty of space in the house and having two bathrooms (one en suite) was great. Linen, towels and blankets were provided to make the stay really comfortable.

The house is in a great location to walk to everything in Jurien Bay. It was big enough for two couples or a family and had everything we needed for our stay.

Setting up Wifi would be better Our mobile internet provider were not accessible during our stay. No internet means No emails for social media Unfortunately that was disappointing
