The only downside was we couldn't use the fireplace as fire bans were still in place, despite it raining whilst we were there, but we did have air con to heat the cabin which was definately needed. Big fluffy towels would be good, but not essential.

What an amazing property. You did not know there were other guests unless you ran into them at the lake. Very private and secluded cabins with beautiful deck with bbq and heated spa. Bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. You do need to be self catered due to the location, but that didn't bother us, we brought our own seafood, steaks and salads and brekky foods. Full size fridge and fully stocked kitchen to prepare food etc. So peaceful kayaking on the lake - I've never kayaked before but will definately do it again 😁

We recently did a big trip which had us staying at 13 different hotels/motels/holiday stays and this was by far our favourite. The staff were friendly, the place was immaculately clean, the facilities were wonderful and the added bonus of kayaks and spa were wonderful. Oh and the resident kangaroos were the icing on the cake. Cannot fault Donnelly Lakes!!

Not much. Was a great stay but there was quite a bit of Kangaroo and goose poop around, but it is the countryside.

Perfect location for a large family stay. We booked the farmhouse and 1 other chalet to accommodate 12 Adults ( 6 couples). Very well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to spread out inside and out. Also very private as well.Loved our stay for my birthday 😊

There isn't really anything in particular we did not like.

The unit is well equipped and clean. The deck, and jacuzzi, provides nice views over the river. The owners are very friendly. Fantastic place from which to explore the area, or even just for a weekend getaway. Barbeque facilities are provided as well as kayaks.

The spa water was not clean enough and one side of the spa wasn't working. But other than that it was a good experience.

Our family loved everything about our stay at the chalet. It was wonderful to be active with beautiful walks and kayaking and also relaxing by the lake or in the spa. The cottage was clean, well equipped and very cosy. I wish we could have stayed an extra couple of nights. We will definitely be back!

Location is beautiful & peaceful. Kids enjoyed going on an adventure through the woods collecting all the sticks they could carry! Staff were amazing. The coffee machine died one morning, I sent a text message to notify them and within 10 mins another one was delivered to us.

Such a beautiful property that has everything you could want. We had a wonderful weekend here - enjoying a swim and paddle in the beautiful lake, a relaxing spa, peaceful surrounds and comfy chalet. We would highly recommend a stay here for anyone who is looking for some quality time away from the hustle and bustle!

Steps leading down to lakes and the actual jettys needing a bit of maintenance but the whole place is stunning.

Staff at the facility were amazing, very knowledgeable about the history of the lakes.

Nothing to complain about really. The road in from Vasse hwy is rough in some places so be aware if coming in with a car . 30mins to pemberton or Nannup so bring groceries with you

It would have been great if the Airconditioner inside the chalet could heat as well as cool. It was cold in the mornings and we were unable to heat the chalet due to the fire ban.

I loved the nature around the chalet. The warm spa was amazing. The views to the lake were great also. The access to canoes and paddle boards were greatly appreciated.

Such a beautiful location, with comfortable, very well appointed chalets. We celebrated a birthday with a group of families over a long weekend and every man, woman & child is determined to go back for longer next time.

Everything was so great. . I highly recommend this place! They put really effort into making your stay comfortable. The place was very very clean and they put attention to detail, decorated very nicely. The appliances in the kitchen are great, German oven, coffee machine, toster, dishes. Oil, coffe, tea sugar, pepper, foil, baking paper, tissue, all was supplied. You didn't need to bring anything except food. Barbecue is excellent, on the beautiful deck, with the jakuzzi bath and view at the lake. We had our own jetty and privacy! The interior of the cottage is so pretty. The staff are amazing, they let us to check in earlier.

Beautiful property, peaceful, nice lake walk and well labelled walking trail. Spotted heaps of kangaroos, we enjoyed the spa and the kayaks provided were in good condition. The house was tidy and kitchen equipped for our stay. The managers were also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend and will definitely be back again.
