Darker curtains would have been good but that’s the only thing we could fault.

The farmhouse was plenty big enough for the 10 of us and the setting it was in was beautiful. The gardens were lovely and there was lots of wildlife around and so many birds. The walk trail around the river was magical, we explored twice a day because it was all so nice. One of our favourite places we’ve stayed in.

Amazing views, great amenities with the hot tub and kayaks, lovely nature walk on the premise. Being minutes away from a lovely winery is a big win too!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The layout and positioning of the chalets gives lake view and privacy no matter how many people using facility. The quality of kitchenware and little extras eg. Coffee pod machine, glad wrap, mozzie coils etc The tranquil setting.

My bed was far too firm, however my wife said her bed was perfect.

Our overall stay was fantastic, however a severe storm front did affect our access to the Internet and mobile phone service.

There was nothing I could fault.

Absolutely everything! The booking process leading up to arriving was smooth with no trouble. The chalet was exactly how I imagined it and more. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and would definitely love to stay again. Thank you for making stay relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable.

We didn't like that, we only stayed for 3 nights.

Tranquillity was perfect. Each room overlooked the lake. The sunset while sitting on our jetty was stunning. The chalet had everything you needed and more. Very well equipped to walk straight in and start relaxing. We ordered a cheese & wine platter for our arrival. We must say, it's was the best we have ever received.

Loved the location the bush retreat was just what we needed and the warm spa was a great way to relax. The chalet was comfortable and had everything and more that we needed.

There was not much to fault regarding this stay. The only thing that comes to mind is that the TV was getting repaired during our stay so we couldn’t watch the derby game but we were still able to stream it through the quick wifi.

We loved the home feel of the farmhouse and how secluded in nature it felt. The whole property had many walking trails and things to do/see.

What a beautiful place to stay. We loved our weekend at Donnelly Lakes. The accommodation was wonderfully clean & well presented with lots of extras. And the fire was going when we arrived so our chalet was lovely & warm. Great location, lots of privacy. Perfect place to stay.

The nearest town is a bit of a drive (but we were aware of that!)

This is our second stay at Donnelly Lakes and we loved the upgraded spa and other updated items within the cabin. We really enjoyed the walking trails, that were clearly marked with signs. The property is gorgeous.
