If you were staying for more than a few days, probably some more cooking utensils would be good. Also a couple of chairs to watch TV, although we brought the ones in off the verandah

Poorly insulated, musty cabins; disappointing that community spaces like the laundry are not respected by the guests; seems everyone’s consideration becomes no one’s responsibility eg cleaning after use - wiping down benches & sink; removing lint from dryer filters.

Rural setting, close to the Dorrigo World Heritage National Park. Attractive restful park environment; Rustic cabins with shade from tree plantings; good size for 2 people (very close living for 5 people)

The hut was smelling a bit old, which for the female side of our family was not really great. The same half of the family had something to say about the amount of spider webs in the hut. But so it goes... ;-)

It was essentially the only place where to sleep in a radius of a few tens of km, so the choice was almost obliged. The location is in fact quite nice for nature's lovers, close to the national park. You can park directly on the side of the hut.

Very noisy with loud music during day and late into the evening. Cabins a bit gloomy and cold. The cabins were basic and not in the best condition eg the cook top was functional but light was broken, stained coffee cups

The location is perfect for accessing the National Park. And reasonably priced given the quality.

It was all good except the TV and internet but it was acceptable because of the location.

The whole set up and location is great. The cabins are a bit dated and the bed very basic. I found the cook top nearly inadequate as the thermostat was set low and the hot plates kept cutting out and I had trouble getting enough heat to cook a steak properly. Also boiling vegetables was pretty slow.

The grounds were lovely and the outlook fantastic The staff were lovely and friendly. The outside BBQ was excellent.

The cabin was old and rundown. The lounge didn't have any cushions so we had to sit on the bare base and the cutlery and crockery were sadly lacking. When we looked closely we could see a lot of dust on the walls and fittings.

The lounge wasn't very comfortable. The bathroom was small with a tiny sink and the sliding shower screen came off its runners. The cabin facilities were quite old and need updating. There was no freezer in the small fridge so had to use the one in the common area hall.

The bed was comfortable and in a separate room. Had all the basics for self catering. Had a deck that you could sit out on and enjoy the view.

Wifi was not available in the rooms but in the comunity room. Kitchen was ok, but not as modern as some. A bit noisy due to car traffic next to the hotel.

Aesthetically, you must rid of the yellow plastic chairs on the deck!! Yikes.. ugly and uncomfortable. No chairs inside. Hard stools at bench. Not private in that the noise carries from each cabin. But, hey, it is an RV park so whatever. We were happy. My bed was a hard mattress.

Cute little cabin and the area around pretty. Large cabin though we had a family one for two. Good screens on windows.

The DAMP 😩 the floor was wet when we arrived and I assumed the cabin had just been cleaned, but no, even with a fan oscillating for several hours, the floor remained wet for the entire duration of our stay. I understand humidity but this place was properly damp. The cabin itself was very tired and ‘no-frills’, after a day of rainforest walks battling leeches and a large black snake, I didn’t entirely relax in the cabin due to it’s very rustic style! The cobwebs didn’t help.

The staff were friendly and the location was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed.
