Free pinball machines in lobby, lovely staff, modern rooms, comfortably appointed. Good location within walking distance of centre. It felt very luxurious.

The room only had 1 chair at the table for 2 people. There also wasn't any sort of lounge when there was space. We did have some noise on different nights. On one night we could hear water running from somewhere above and it was vey noisy and the next night we heard a lot of banging outside but wasn't sure if it was across the street or within the hotel.

Hotel is very new and located on Spencer St in West Melbourne and is some distance from Bourke St shopping but is across the road from an outlet centre which was good. The hotel had free video games in the foyer which was some great and unexpected fun. There are trams and trains nearby but we found it easy to walk everywhere. l.

The only dissapointment for our stay is we added the buffet breakfast for the second night of our stay and overall it wasn't what it was hoped for.... the selection of hot food seemed slightly lacking with no sweet selection in pancakes or waffles and the selections of eggs, bacon, mushrooms and hashbrowns was cold or just on warm, and upon ordering a coffee the wait was in excess of 15 minutes and being a Tuesday it wasnt overly busy....We did get a discount to $25 per person for the breakfast for booking the night before but I feel it's a area that could be improved upon. Overall if the breakfast was s more present experience I would have been happy to score full points

The pool sauna and steam rooms were a fantastic was to wind down after a big day in the city, the staff overall were helpful and friendly but at times it took a little but of a wait for them to acknowledge if you were waiting at the front desk for some assistance. Room was clean and comfortable, location convenient of the hotel and the personalised touch to the room from the staff to help celebrate the wife and mu 20 anniversary was welcoming too.

Initially had a room next to the lifts which created intrusive noise. Neither window views offered a whole lot of natural light.

Been twice and there’s something I love about the Dorsett. Love the front bar, the pool, the style and layout of room and the overall feeling of quality. The opaque wall through to bathroom is a great aesthetic touch. Some room prices on certain dates are exceptional value.

Blair and the reception, porters were all nice and did their best to help.me out with my little one year old daughter. Blair got her a Dorsett bear which she still loves.

We had very noisy neighbours in the room next to us, which meant no sleep. However the manager moved us to another room the following night, which was much better.

Location isn't very central to most of the go to things in Melbourne, and they don't have a full separate restaurant, if you want to eat on-site it's in the bar or room service

The venue facilities were great, decor and feel of the place was great, and rooms were good size, comfortable and moody.

Of all the accommodation I have stayed in in Melbourne and around the world this was my favourite. From the moment we arrived until we checked out we were both so impressed with every aspect of the facility.

The parking cost you 65$ but it’s the CBD and they will drive your car in and out for your everytime you want to leave, but this also means there is waiting time.

It felt warm and welcoming on arrival. Our rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the Pool/Spa area. Blair at valet was so helpful at check out and assisting us with the valet service.

Breakfast was average, not enough fruit selection. No bottled water in our room. Music volume was a little loud for a weary traveller, it was turned down, but really enjoyed the music selection , very homely, and hip.

Location the best, great feather/down pillows, quiet room.

kitchen facility was very big. for some reason the staff kept taking our second card everytime they tidied our room which was very annoying
