Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Australiamanagement were rather nosey, didn’t leave me alone the whole time I was trying to get stuff out of my Ute, fed my dogs which I didn’t approve of as they didn’t even ask. there was also shattered glass in the bathroom, and the shower was disgusting to the point I didn’t even end up having one, old razors and hair still on the shower floor.

FranceThe manager accepted my reservation and I paid. I came between 6 and 7pm. Nobody was at the office, I waited there for 3h and some guys came back from work and gave me the manager mobile number. He was speaking no-sense and finally a room was open and I took the bed for the night. At 7am his wife came speaking super loud on phone just behind my door, I opened and she asked me when I was moving told her 10am like it was said on the reservation.

AustraliaDirty hand marks on doors handles and fridge door . Coffee cups dirty. Bathroom sink had dried jiff all over it . Only used soap supplied . Extra toilet roll had brown water stains . Mirror above bead heaf had questionable spots and dust all over it . My spare towel was used to sit on my lady who was waiting for me to arrive . She wad pleasant but was on the phone the whole time so I was not able to ask any questions .sheets to big for the bed I had no idea where to leave keys when I left as no one in the office. it could be a great little place

AustraliaWhen I arrived I couldn't get in because the gates were padlocked. I rang several times and there was no answer. I proceeded to book another place when the Italian owner came out pleading with me to stay. I relented and lost $108 on my other booking due to a no refund policy apparently. There was NO complimentary anything. The bed looked like it had been slept in. The owner admitted to staying in both front rooms. The sink, basin and shower were disgusting. There was hair on the floor and on the in use cake of soap on the hand basin. I chose not to shower because it looked disgusting. The shower curtain was gross and there was a used cake of soap in the soap holder. I chose to leave early the next morning as I just wanted to get home to Dalby. It took me 20 minutes to get out as I was padlocked in. After being told it was TOO early in the morning by the owner, he proceeds to come out in his underpants and a flannelette shirt to unlock the gate. DO NOT GO THERE!!! To say I was disgusted and disappointed would be an understatement.

AustraliaThe owner was incredibly kind. I had to take a 7 hour detour to get through the floods in NSW, so I ended up getting to the motel at around 1am. He got out of bed just to open the gate and let me inside my room. The room was good too, it was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. There absolutely nothing wrong with my stay.
