Nothing - all was good except maybe a rubbish bin in the bathroom would have been nice. Also a nice addition might be a toasted sandwich maker. But only nice to haves.

Studio was a short walk to a beautiful beach and easy access to Urunga. The studio was large and tastefully decorated. Great powerful shower and a very roomy bathroom. Bed was comfy. Lovely views from the balcony. Small breakfast provisions were a bonus.

Amazing location close to the beach. Comfortable bed. Massive shower. Super clean and tidy. Great balcony where we enjoyed our cheese platter and bottle of wine.

There was nothing we did not like.

Studio was comfortable with nice deck overlooking garden and bush. Host Carl was very helpful in providing his own wifi access when we could not get the studio wifi to work.

The mattress is memory foam which isn't a favorite of mine but my husband liked it.

The hosts were very accommodating about our arrival time, the "first breakfast" treats were tasty and appreciated, quick walk to the beach, the room itself was modern and serene. Loved the vibe and the many books on the shelf.

There was not a single element even remotely worthy of criticism.

The purpose-built studio was exceptionally well designed and attention to detail was impressive. Bedding and guest facilities are of the highest standard and it felt really private, even though the main dwelling is close by. The house and studio felt very secluded, with the easy access to Valla Beach below a bonus.

We didn’t realise there are no dinner options around when arriving Monday after 15:00. But a picnic on the beach was great.

only thing was the bed being too low to the ground and a bit hard.

We liked it was easy to find and off the main roads and close to where we needed to be. The complimentary teas were absolutely delicious, a nice change from boring black tea bags. Orange Juice/Cereal/Milk/Teas/Coffee provided. It was very quiet and relaxing. Local shops just down the road as was the beach. I had trouble understanding how to access the key, a quick phone call and it was sorted in seconds.

Drifted Away was in a perfect location for our 4 night stopover during the Xmas period. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and fitted out. Perfect for our needs. The balcony overlooked a neat garden, and a reserve with paths that led straight to the beach, via woodlands. There are a couple of very nice cafes in town, a bus stop to take you North or South, and a Tavern, all about a 1km walk away. I've already recommended it to family and friends and would happily book again if needing accommodation in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Drifted Away. The apartment was in the perfect setting. overlooking the bush with views of the water and sounds of the waves. It was tastefully decorated, well appointed, comfortable and private. you could walk to the beach in a few minutes and a lovely lagoon in 20. Perfect place to relax.

All our needs were provided for and exceeded expectation. Wonderful breakfast of muesli, orange juice, milk and a range for teas and espresso coffee all provided. Beautiful sunny room, very well equipped with garden and sea views.
