Fantastic villa, perfect for family getaway with swim spa to entertain the kids & us! Enjoyed the BBQ provided & espresso coffee machine. Kitchen was very well equipped. Lovely bed linen & gas heater was very warm for the cool nights.

Great property with plenty of thought gone into all the little things that make a stay really comfortable - plenty of kitchen utensils, sharp knives (!), butter, Vegemite and jam satchels, olive oil in the pantry, block-out blinds in the bedroom, comfortable queen beds, laundry detergent & pegs ... the list goes on! The owners are doing a great job - highly recommend it.

The accommodation was excellent for the four staying (my wife and I and two female friends). I organised the stay and our two friends were extremely happy with the Dunes. Our friends were used to quality accommodation and thus were able to do an accurate and honest critique.

Fabulous winter getaway with a great warm and relaxing swim spa, wonderful gas wood fireplace with snuggle blankets on each couch and cozy warm beds. Everything you needed was waiting for us including beach towels for the spa, condiments for breakfast and all the kitchen things you need to cook a great meal. The location was close to town, close to the beach to watch the sunset and did l mention the downstairs bathroom with a two-person spa and wine glass and candle holders!! We had the best getaway.

Whilst the house was quite clean, there were items that seemed a little sticky, such as tops of tables, but a quick wipe over sorted this out.

The house was amazing, so big, comfortable and well stocked with equipment in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a little hard for my liking, so one was more than sufficient for a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were big and the showers a good size. We loved the rack with the wine glasses over the bath! The spa pool was great - an area at one end for bubbling and relaxing and just enough room for a short swim to the other end. Theodora and Michael were very welcoming, and The Dunes was ideal for sightseeing in Port Fairy and slightly further afield. We really enjoyed our short stay.

There was nothing that we disliked at the property everything was excellent.

The property was very clean everything that we needed was available to us. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were very tidy. The property was not crowded we could wander around at our leisure and the spa was amazing. It was a short 20 minute walk to the beach a short drive into town where we could buy groceries and attend the market and also have lunch in the local pubs.

The location suited our group - short distance from Port Fairy township. Quiet area. Parking for two. Views of sea. Able to walk freely about in environment. Not easy to access the seafront due to private properties. Short drive to Warrnambool.

Someone kept opening the dryer and stopping our washing in the laundry. The 4th bed listed as sofa bed was just a regular couch and not a bed

Signage a bit confusing initially, and internet not brilliant.

Quiet, pleasant, roomy, well equipped, particularly with exceptional dining and kitchen facilities and essentials provided. Easy entry and exit lock process. Nice grassed area, and cute, functional little laundry house.

We're old fashioned, so we would have liked to have met our hosts, rather than just getting the key from a lock box.

The property exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room and the hosts provided everything we needed to enjoy four lovely days there. The spa/pool was excellent and we used it just about every day.

The swim spa is a little smaller than the pictures make it look however it was still super lovely to relax in and was perfect for three of us

We loved the house, it was a great size for a family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 6. We liked that it had two good sized bathrooms, one with a twin seat spa bath. The house itself was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal at home. The swim spa was fantastic and having exclusive use was brilliant. There was also a gas log fire in the main living area which heated the whole house very quickly, and when we first arrived, the owners had already put the fire on so the house was nice and toasty, which was a really thoughtful gesture. There is also an on-site playground which the kids loved and there is also plenty of green grass for them to play on and kick a ball. All in all, it’s a great family friendly location. We’d happily stay there again.

There was no signpost at the start of the lane. The bbq gas bottle was empty so couldn't be used. The gas cooktop ignition didn't work so was initially difficult to use. Suggestion: the gas cooker could be replaced with a portable induction cooktop, Perhaps this could lead to eliminating gas and becoming an all electric house. Walking access to local beaches was difficult .

The house was clean , well furnished and well laid out and had a friendly atmosphere to it. The dishwasher was excellent. The spa was good.
