As there's no aircon in the room, you must have the windows open (which is fine), but there's a very loud fan/aircon unit right outside the window (I assume to service the pub downstairs). Also the bathroom had other people's hair throughout. Not a problem for a 1 night stay, but wouldn't want to be there longer with the aircon noise from outside.

Good price, good location, good staff, good pub, comfortable beds.

The door of the bathroom was broken(latch wasn't working). No place to hang clothes inside the bathroom. Fan's max speed was like the slowest ever possible so room was little hot to stay.

No air conditioning, however we did have a ceiling fan. It was ok for us as it wasn’t that hot. Could have used a few more mugs in the kitchenette, there was only one. Very busy intersection so be prepared for a disturbed sleep. This didn’t bother us as the price is reflective.

Great location close to Darling Harbour where we were attending a concert. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable.

While you cannot hear any noise from the bar (awesome) you can hear the fan from the Kitchen exhaust (along with the smell of food) right near the window. I don't mind the fan noise, but some will find it annoying.

as the 1st floor is a pub/bar, it does get noisy at night, especially weekends. I'm talking karaoke night noisy. was a bit unbearable, but I'm a night owl & it died down close to midnight. would not recommend for those who are sensitive to noise the lack of private bathroom does get annoying after a couple of days

the location is 10/10, only a few min bus ride to some of the most popular attractions. the bed was large and comfy for 1 person

Smallest of fixes would make it a better stay. Bin and shower holder in bathroom were broken. Cool town in fridge was frozen. Remote control held together by tape. Found a previous persons razor in the bathroom as well. The bed quilt doesn’t have a cover (which is fine) as it was protected by sheets. The staff secured the bottom sheet that goes between you and the quilt to the top of the bed instead of pulling it down with the quilt. Meant getting home late, I didn’t realise and slept with just the quilt and no barrier.

Pictures on bookings.com are representative of what you book. The room was not noisy as I feared. The staff are friendly and the room has everything that was advertised. The bed was comfortable and faculties very good given the price. I’d stay again.

They cleaning.. there was a layer of dust in all the corners. We stayed here for a week and where told somebody would come and clean at least once since it was a longer stay but nobody came.. Had to ask for clean towels and bought our own big bin bag as we only got a tiny bathroom bin which was full after day 1. Sometimes the music gets so loud downstairs in the pub and it feels like your in the middle of the party in your bed. The carpet got soo dirty as there didn’t get cleaned which was a bit gross. For a family room I’de expect a second pair of keys and 4 chairs instead of 3. Kitchen could use a (tea)towel as there is a whole kitchen where you can cook. Oh and the shower had lots of mold as there was no fan..

The location was good and there was a super friendly asian guy who even helped us moving all our suitcases upstairs , which was a lot!

The room needed a better clean. One of the coffee cups was brown in the bottom and we needed to rewash. Unfortunately there was then no towel to dry it.

I enjoyed the proximity to Darling Harbour and being able to walk everywhere.

exhaust fan in the bathroom not working, and there are no towel racks/hooks. guests may benefit from functioning wifi. the cleaners might consider checking/vacuuming under the beds from time to time, however to be fair that seems to be a problem everywhere not just here.

very noisy traffic and no double glazing + the hallway light was so bright overnight which the blind over the door does little to block out. both contributed to a very poor sleep

The bathroom had a weird smell to it. Old milk carton spilt in fridge from previous occupants and not cleaned or removed prior to our stay. Old soap from previous guests in the shower.

The room was big and bed was comfy. Good location and close to the wedding venue (10 minute walk). Whilst it was pricey for a pub stay, it was the more affordable option considering it was opening weekend of Vivid.
