Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaToo close to train tracks so it's a little noisy at night. No night parties allowed. Parking spot is a little too tight. No lifts so if you bring big and heavy luggages, book one on the lower floors.
I didn't stay there. It was booked for some visiting friends. The unit is a good size, bright and close to amenities. The balcony also faces the main road which is nice. They have washing machine and dryer in the unit, and a full kitchen. It would be great for gathering but they don't allow night parties so you'll have limited options. It would also be great if they had smaller units for just resting and sleeping as some visitors are out visiting places most of the time. It will then be more affordable and suit different purposes.

AustraliaThe kids wanted to have a bath instead of a shower and the bath was very dusty and the wine glasses looked as if they hadn't been washed from the last guests.
We loved the apartment for the price and location! It was perfect for what we needed. So close to the train station for going out. I wish we'd had more time to explore the local neighbourhood as the food smelled so good.

AustraliaEastwood identifies itself as Korea Town so most restaurants serve Asian foods mostly meat based. Unfortunately my grandchildren are vegetarian so very little on offer for them. But I loved it and made friends with Uni at Nodaji where I bought freshly made tofu sushi for grandchildren’s breakfast.
Location is near a train station & also easy to drive into Sydney, Bondi & Blue Mountains. And the apartment was spotlessly clean & had off street parking.

AustraliaThe stove was faulty with 2 hotplates having only 2 settings: Off and HI heat, nothing in between. We heard this was a common problem and have experienced it at other holiday houses as well. The dryer was faulty with a problem drying the clothes. Moisture dripped from the left foot of the dryer as is struggled to dry the moist clothes. It seemed that something was plugging the exhaust vent so the warm moist air had nowhere to go. Shower is a tight fit so that you sometimes bump the cold glass wall of the cubicle. Ouch! I mean it was cold- as it is winter here right now.
Liz was there in her apartment to check us in and give us the keys. She continued to be helpful whenever we needed help with anything. Column heater in bedroom kept us super warm. Aircon in living area kept us warm in that part of the apartment. the apartment was kept clean and tidy and we were able to keep it that way with the provision of a vacuum and sweeping tools to tidy up periodically We enjoyed the fact that this is an ethnic area of Sydney with many Asian restaurants and grocery stores. The people were very polite and gentile in Eastwood. thank you to all of Eastwood for a wonderful stay. This apartment mad it possible for my whole family of 5 adults to stay in Sydney close to trains and buses and not break the piggy bank.

AustraliaThe only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the location as it was just across from the train station so we did hear trains a lot through the night including freight trains. We did book this apartment/place knowing the location but didn’t think it’s be too bad. Though hearing them throughout the night means I struggled with sleep more than usual sadly.
The owner was very nice and went over everything before handing over the keys, and even upgraded our room beforehand. The 2 bedroom apartment was very nice and big for our 3 day stay. The facilities were good too having everything we be needed in bedroom/bathroom and all utensils in the kitchen. Check in and check out was very easy for us.

AustraliaThere is only one central air conditioner unit in the living room and it gets pretty hot in the bedrooms at night. The air conditioner switches off after a few hours automatically. Not a major problem if the temperature/weather is not too hot. There are however, stand fans in the bedrooms.
Location is really convenient as it is very near to the train station. Some reviews complained about the noise from the train station but we were generally OK with that. The place is very comfortable and had all necessary adequate facilities.
