How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were grateful for comfy beds, the opportunity to share a drink in the bar downstairs and easy access to a range of fabulous restaurants and cafes as well as parks and green spaces. Staff were fabulous.

The only down fall in my opinion was the poor and patchy WI FI which was hopeless in our room but seemed to work well in the lobby area forcing my wife and myself to go to the lobby to do our emails etc. The only other minor issue was that we returned back to our rooms on two occasions to find our fridge door open.
Location was good ,good shops and eateries close by and the free city bus not far away to stop at all the required locations. Parking on site was available and the pool out back was a bonus. the huge lobby area was comfortable as well

There was no cafe, bar or breakfast area in the accommodation facility. Although we were OK for food as the restaurants and cafes in the street were good and there is a small supermarket close by, I would have had a breakfast in the accommodation's cafe if this were provided.
The location is great - good transport close by and many good eating places in the area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed a daily swim in the pool. The shower was also very warm and strong.

I had my own balcony there was a lift that made things very easy. The staff were very helpful and when I had to cancel a day early they gave me a refund. That sort of transparency is unbeatable Thankyou

The only downside is noise from pipes/plumbing. When the person in the room above had a shower late at night it was very loud - light sleepers might find this disturbing to their sleep.
I have stayed here previously, so knew what to expect. The room upgrade was a welcome surprise. The suite we stayed in was spacious and newly refurbished and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. They didn't jack up the prices ridiculously for the long weekend - unlike other nearby hotels. Car parking is easy to access, although very full being a long weekend.

Bed and pillows were too soft for my preference. But everything else was amazing.
Excellent location, clean and well maintained with upgraded facilities. Excellent parking with good sized parking spots to fit our Merc Van. We had a King Suite and it was so spacious, super clean and well maintained and beautifully presented. The balcony was small but still a lovely luxury to get some fresh air. The kitchenette was compact but functional. Fridge was exceptionally clean. Lots of pillows and an extra towel. Location to restaurants was amazing! Super quiet and safe location. Steven who checked us in is an absolute gem! So kind and helpful and friendly. 100% recommend.

The uh "balcony" had little room other than for a table and 1 chair. It was also covered in bird poo, due to it being a consistent nest for a couple of pidgens.
A nice place to stay on a nice street, which was unusually quiet on the weekend I was there (maybe its always quiet?). The room itself is fine, with split system air con in both the living room and bedroom. Very comfy bed! Bathroom is great with a shower that had awesome pressure.

Sadly the bar and restaurant closed since Covid. Had to pay a bit more than last visit.

No full length mirror .. would have been ideal esp for the amount of times I had to dress up for an occasion! Plus a bottle opener for a beer!
