Add yoghurt to breakfast offerings A bit noisy in the morning with heavy peak hour traffic from 6am to 930pm. One way street so ok in the evening

It was a little distant from the waterfront. we walked a lot - that's good and we used the buses as well.

All Day Breakfast/snack available. Very handy when a little late night snack is required. John was very helpful and informative. Definitely will go back next time in Hobart.

Nothing. Not having en suite facilities was a unusual but the shared facilities were clean, available and more than sufficient.

Host, John, was very friendly, readily available and helpful. John provided excellent access to a well stocked kitchen with fresh bread, local produce, fresh picked fruit, wide variety of cereals.

We stayed twice and both times it was great. First time was a room with a shared bath. Not an issue at all. There is more than one bath/toilet area and they are clean and convenient. Second time we had a private bath and that was great too! Both rooms were very spacious. Either room we had we would be happy using again for a future trip.

One consideration for some travelers might be the location. I love to walk and so I didn’t mind the extra steps to and from the waterfront area.

The property is very well managed. John was so friendly and easy to talk to. My room was clean and comfortable. The self serve breakfast was a perfect way to start my day. I love the character of the old mansion converted to a B and B.

Loved the flexible help yourself /eat anytime breakfast and friendly host. Shared facilities were very clean and always available when I needed them. Lovely interior. Great to h ave kettle and fridge in the room.

Great location and host John was always on hand and always up for a chat, and has the best library of books in his office ! Breakfast room was well stocked and available anytime. Would definitely stay again while in Hobart.

Could really fault anything. Kids got told from another guest to be quiet at 2pm but not a problem as we were leaving to explore.

Photos all true representation. Great stay with young family. Rooms comfy. Felt very safe. Convenient to have breakfast station in the morning. Good location to explore Hobart/attend Mona/Salamanca markets. Some walking involved which we didn’t mind at all.

Within walking distance to shops/eateries,able to meet up with different nations also staying , different to staying at regular motels with many ornaments/items/figures decorating the hallways and rooms,if I get the chance to return to Hobart wouldn't mind staying again

John is very responsive and friendly. He made us feel right at home when we arrived and assured us that we could leave our cars at the property after check out and retrieve them before 2 pm. This was most helpful as we had planned to go to Salamanca market but didn't want to go through the hassle of finding a car park near the market. The complimentary breakfast was great. There was even our children's favourite chicken noodles available. This is one of very few places that I would definitely stay again the future!
