The beautiful garden surrounds and rustic outfitting of this self-contained cottage made us feel like we were holidaying deep in the woods, although the property is in the centre of the town. Fortunately, the breakfast provisions were ample for both dinner and breakfast as all eateries in town were closed the night we stayed. A real gem!

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

What an absolute gem and delight. Among the myriad things to like were the attention to details in everything from the decor and appointments to food options provided and the access to a wonderful kitchen garden all in a delightful private setting. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Such a pity we could only enjoy it for one night.

It was great to have the option of a cooked breakfast and the supplies were very generous. The kitchen was well equipped and the garden was beautiful.

I booked to have twin beds; it is offered as an option and we have stayed there before with that bed configuration. Received a message from the property saying twin beds not available and was ready to cancel the booking when another message arrived saying that the previous advice was wrong, twin beds still being offered, would I like to keep the booking. Of course I did but on arrival, you guessed it, just the one bed. Had some resistance getting the bedroom configured as a twin on our previous stay and I just wasn’t in the mood to bother the owner about it and get them to fix their mistake. Took the shine off what was an otherwise special occasion in a special location. Still an ideal place for an intimate couple rather than a couple of platonic friends and a shame for us that we didn’t get what was booked and promised.

Location, both within the town and within the property. Tucked away down the driveway and within a delightful private garden. The accommodation itself is aesthetically pleasing and beautifully fitted out as well. Generous and quality breakfast provisions with lovely touches like the bowl of local walnuts. Also love the roaming resident chooks that can be spotted every now and then.

Checking in and checking out was abit confusing. Said I'd be able to check in at her store next door and had closed it already (we weren't late either) and then said we could check out at the store as well at 11, but the store doesn't open till 11:30. It wasn't well organised to be honest.

It is the cutest place ever. Well furnished, everything you need included. The bed was soooo comfy. Nice wknd getaway place

The aircon was in the bedroom and the little heater for the lounge area was a bit temperamental. We were comfortable though as the small space warmed up quickly and there was an electric blanket on the bed.

The barn and surrounding gardens were stunning. We decided to stay here as a halfway point between Hobart and Cradle Mountain and we were so glad that we did. The decor was beautiful and there was such a great attention to detail with comfort in mind. The provided toiletries were good quality and the complimentary breakfast supplies were great, there was even fresh herbs picked from the garden and additional mini bar items available if needed. Would recommend highly to anyone and will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

There are quite a few plants and decorative arrangements in the living area of the apartment which compromised useable space

The level of equipment and complementary supplies was impressive. The outside area and garden is amazing and combined with the location it makes for a very relaxing stay. The king size bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large.
