The bathroom are outside really cold during winter.

Mia, the receptionist is really friendly and helpful. The hostel is close to the center.

Private rooms have high ceilings. Bathrooms have nice hot shower facilities. Got some peace there. There is a seperate females toilet in the unit. clean sheets and mattresses

In a single room the bed was on bricks no air con had a ripped floor so there was ants, cockroaches etc around but they did supply a big fan but the prices were $ 85.00 a night in that condition it should have been $20.00

Where to start. How about ... 1. The 50 or so insect bites I got from the bed. The stained mattress / sheets didn't look very inviting, but I arrived late and there was nobody to complain to. They changed the mattress protector / bedding the next day and gave me a big can of Raid, but I was still finding small cockroaches in the room. 2. The smell of the room. Not sure if it was urine or related to the bugs, but it wasn't pleasant. 3. A fan on the floor does NOT count as air conditioning. 4. The place is also getting renovated making it incredibly noisy, dusty, with lots of workmen milling about 7 days a week. 5. ZERO furniture except the bed. Not even a hook on the back of the door. Which meant I was forced to put all my clothes, bag etc, on the insect infected floor. 6. Free breakfast? There was no free breakfast. False advertising. 7. And a light-hearted one to finish. Hundreds of films on DVD and nothing to play them on.

Good location. The girl working in reception was very nice (I think she has had a lot of practice dealing with complaints).

Why I'll extend a one day, it's i need to back my home town, I don't want to change my living room a one day,and i would wanted to cancel before,,but the hostel didn't except,so that's why i live there. Sometimes I'm talking about the bad things,but you should watch my other comments,and follow in your traveling times to check again be fair

I don't think the hostel is ready, The air-con is installing, it isn't work The water pipe is broken, but i don't know why Some ant will go to the toilet at the night time, When you go to the building you can feel there's very old and they have many things need to change,and to be honest they're changing.. At a future it should be best,but not yet

It is a brand new hostel, so plenty of work being done, and I am sure that the rooms will not be the same when you stay as when I did. But when I was there, carpets aren't great, bathrooms a bit messy, and the room had a real smell about it that didn't seem to disappear. Breakfast only begins at 9am which isn't great if you want to get out and explore early in the day, and reception hours don't really allow for late arrivals with the key is just posted up on a whiteboard in the hallway, which is not an ideal system in my opinion as anyone can take it. Staff were very nice though, and I can tell that in the coming weeks when everything has been upgraded and converted properly that it will be a very appealing hostel, but for now, it is a budget place where you get what you pay for.

The location is absolute perfect 👌. 10min walk to Perth station and very close to all bars/nightspots of the city.

You realise your not somewhere remotely comfortable when you see the rough entrance. They opened while still fixing it up. They should of steam cleaned the carpets first as they reek. Should of got the pest control in to sort out the cockroach problem. I was hoping none found their way into my luggage. No aircon, a huge fan that was too big for the room. No towel. No drawers shelves or hooks. Smoke detector in my room not working. Old building with weird window above door that you could not close. Only two showers and are outside. Crap everywhere outside. Even front gate was broken. I was keen for a lie in , but got out of there at 7am. $85 ? I wouldn't stay there for free. The audacity of these people.

The young lady was very cheerful. One star was for her only. One 🌟 cause next to Maccers.
