There really wasn’t anything I could fault

What a gorgeous little find and so accommodating for myself and my two little dogs. It was so easy to find, had everything we needed and was a perfect place to stay overnight on my trip from Victoria to the Yorke Peninsula.

No, we thought a lot of effort had been put into Emu accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Breakfast was excellent. Really the only thing missing was a washing machine. But then not everyone wants to wash on their holiday.

Nothing everything exceeded my expectations - good value for money. My host welcomed me as though I was one of the family and showed me where everything was then discreetly retired The hosts are available via mobile phone number. Undercover parking for cars with sensor lights at night the carport area is well-lit, and has a nice garden area behind the apartment to relax in.

I believe a lot of thought has gone into the design and layout of the Apartment. The entry lobby is a nice touch with racks for suitcases a storage area and with a built-in wardrobe. The Bedroom/living area is spacious and very tastefully furnished with high-quality fittings and furniture. Bedside lights with power point and USB charging ports in them - great electric blankets, a water drinking tap in the kitchen dispenses filtered water and the kitchen has everything in it needed to cook a meal. The bathroom is well laid out with a large shower cubicle and plenty of good-quality towels. The area is so quiet well away from the main highway I thought that an excellent point and another reason why I would stay at the Emu Retreat again

The unit was perfect! So clean, beds were comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend Emu Retreat to anyone wanting somewhere to stay. It was undervalued compared to other places we stayed on our travels. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity to visit Tailem Bend again.

An unexpected gem, someone has a great eye for putting together such a stylish and functional space. Clean, modern with everything we could have asked for our overnight stay with our dog. Just passing through so can’t rate the area. A lovely start to our vacation.
