Everything! beautiful cottage, It had everything we needed, didn’t want to leave the cottage. Gorgeous location and gardens on the property, it was private and peaceful. Host of the property was lovely and so easy to deal with and left us breakfast and snacks!

Complimentary eggs and bacon was left for our first breakfast with a lovely loaf of bread. Coffee pods were a nice add on. The gardens and surrounds were excellent - beautiful, quiet and very relaxing.

Our cottage was perfect for honeymooners, but having the spa in the main living space was a bit odd after a while. We'd probably book a different cottage next time.

My husband and I were having a short getaway for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage which was very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Our host Stacey was wonderfully attentive. She arranged a cheese platter and wine for our arrival, and the fridge was stocked with provisions for a cooked breakfast. She gave us great tips for wineries as well as restaurants and shops in town. The grounds were beautiful with all the roses in full bloom. We had fresh roses in our room every day. Our especially favorite thing was sitting down by the river of an evening with a glass of wine watching the birds come home to roost. My husband even caught a couple of fish! There were other guests staying at the property, but we honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Nope. It was beyond perfect

The list is too long! This place was beautiful, so comfortable, doggie friendly and was so thoughtfully kitted out! Cheese and wine when we arrived, bubble bath, lovely breakfast supplies in the fridge. Wonderful. The gardens were also great and the dog loved them!

While Evanslea Luxury Accommodation impressed us with its serene setting, elegant amenities, and exceptional service, one area that could enhance the overall experience is the cleaning. We asked for a "once over cleaning" on Thursday, and the cleaner hung all the dirty towels that we threw on the bathroom floor back onto the rails. Attention to detail in cleanliness is crucial for luxury accommodations, and focusing on this aspect would ensure that Evanslea remains a top choice for discerning travelers seeking both relaxation and impeccable surroundings in Mudgee.

This is a lovely property close enough to town but also very quiet and serene. It has beautifully manicured gardens and all the facilities required. With great hosts Stacey & Phil who are obliging without being intrusive.

A lot of big cobwebs with live spiders inside the cottage, they could do with a fortnightly spray and wipe. The garden could do with a bit more love, and yes I am aware that it is winter time now. The tired and worn out tennis court could be replaced or completely demolished to make way for a nice gazebo for special events.

Location was relatively close to the town centre, about 15 minutes easy stroll to town. Fuss free with the check in process and the cottage fireplace was set up prior to us settling in for the night - which was lovely! There was a breakfast hamper of bacon, eggs and a loaf of bread which was very handy and the spa bath near the our comfy king size bed was great.
