Sarah and Ian made the place feel like home so much info from books, eating out, activities etc. Everything you needed to know about Hervey Bay was great to be able sit down and read it. They know the town info from locals is priceless. The lovely touches from beach towels to milk and chocolate in the fridges. The little touches stood out. Having the young adults comment on that shows they noticed🙂 which is great.

The only negative thing was that the people upstairs got up at 5:30 am and I could hear every move that they made and every time they turn the tap on. This is probably just because the property upstairs is uncarpeted but it didn’t take anything away from the lovely property we stayed in.

Really lovely welcome message and a few little goodies in the fridge. Lovely property very well positioned on the Esplanade.

We were happy with everything.

The unit was very well presented and scrupulously clean. Personal touches such as the chocolates, plunger coffee, toast spreads and sauce were appreciated, as were the sunscreen etc in the bathroom.

Compact apartment, had all kitchen equipment if you wanted to cook. Nice bedroom with comfortable bed and good bed linen . Plenty towels and beach towels, even a beach bag.

Sarah is the most thoughtful, generous host. Everything you could need was provided, down to olive oil, citrus squeezers and plunger coffee. The cottage was super clean and beautiful.

The Property was directly over the road from the beach and the beach could be seen from the front balcony. Everything you could need was included like beach towels, tea, real coffee and real milk.

I liked everything about this accommodation. My holiday was awesome! Friendly staff was so helpful. The bed was so comfortable and pillows! Just a big arounder approval.! Like to come and stay again!

I can't fault the place for much considering the price we paid it was value for money but a mirror in the main bedroom would be great.

The property was clean, set up amazingly with little things here and there making it feel like home. Kids books in the two singles room which our son loved. The little deck out the front of our cottage was so nice to sit and have dinner on. Beds were super comfy, and right across from the beach and walking distance to Urangan Pier. Beach towels provided. Washing machine was useful and all cleaning materials provided, (bin bags, laundry and kitchen detergent, shampoo, conditioner etc)

Host was extremely helpful with regards to our late check in. Key arrangements was a breeze. Easy to park as we had a hire car. Great location in regard to visiting Fraser / K’gari island.

Couldn't fault the place!

Great location for a trip to K'Gari and very near the Pier. Absolutely exceptional little place. Very compact but with everything you could need and very tastefully furnished. Biscuits and Vegemite left in the fridge. A few packs of cereal. Foil and cling film. Alot of consideration has gone into these cottages. Bathroom cabinet even had sun cream and first aid essentials. One of the few places we stayed that recommended some local restaurants. Great general information pack.

The road in front when we thought it was just a walk over grass to the beach. Not a big deal but a bit of a surprise. However, for the town people I thought it was lovely that they kept the buildings back and provided a wonderfully long walk and trail along the waters edge.

It was very well equipped and nicely furnished. Lovely to have the extra bedroom to lay our things out and organize ourselves. We had a very complete tour to K'gari (Fraser Island) and then a market the next day both close by at the marina.

It was lovely to have a litre of milk and not a silly 100mls container to have with a choice of packet cereal. the selection of jams and spread was useful and 2 kit kats was a nice added touch.

A water filter for drinking would be great. Only because we drink tank water at home.

The fact there were things like cooking oil and bug spray made a great impression for us. It was very clean. The linen was lovely.
