Great sized room with good facilities and a very comfortable King size bed. Loved the heritage features and quirky Knick knacks. Breakfast was lovely. Host was great fun.

Nothing to dislike, but we were slightly disappointed to find out that Booking.com customers were not entitled to a cooked breakfast under the booking agreement, but we did pay the additional cost on our last morning. Breakfast was excellent.

Good location. A Lovely continental breakfast with Easter treats . Friendly staff . A very comfortable four poster bed and the whole top floor to ourselves. We also had a balcony that was a bonus. We will definitely stay here again. A very characteristic property and a bonus of free parking

I guess I chose the wrong room or when I book it there was no other available. Queen bed is a bit small and honestly I would rather have white cotton sheets instead of dark red synthetic fabric sheets. Having a bathroom built in the room wasn’t ideal for privacy, light wasn’t working and overall outdated.

Nice old house, charming with interesting pieces of art. Really good breakfast.

We stayed in the Endeavour Room. It was quiet, spacious and comfortable with beautiful art and furniture. The garden was quirky with lots of things to see and places to relax. Lovely breakfast room looking out onto the garden. Continental Breakfast had a very good selection of fresh fruit, breads and cereal. Walking distance to Fremantle Centre.

There was no where airconditioned to wait after check out. We didn’t realise that there was no reception after 5 p.m. and initially found it difficult to get information on how to get access.

Fothergills is a gem! This well maintained, historic residence, is delightful accommodation. I was warmly welcomed by the friendly host and taken on a tour of sorts of the pleasant outside area. The many sculptures and wonderful modern artworks about the place, add a subtle quirkiness . The bed was comfortable and the room stylishly furnished. One could not want for more. The continental breakfast was superb, fresh fruits, cereals, breads. Enough choice to suit all tastes. The croissants delivered from Paris to table were an unexpected treat! I recommend Fothergills of Fremantle for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The stairs but we knew they were there so this isn't a biggy. The restaurant area is down a fairly steep hill but great for walking off a big evening meal... and it's Fremantle, it is hilly.

A grand old home within easy walking distance of the Fremantle restaurant zone. The house was full of antique furniture which suited my taste. The artwork and maps on the walls were excellent. Some of the artwork was quirky but brilliant. As a birder, I loved the fact that they had a resident Boobook Owl in the front yard. The included breakfast definitely gave us a great start for our day. The owners/staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this b&b.
