Cost of restaurant considering the food quality. Drinks were also very expensive. Pub bar closed 9:30! Rooms, although clean with a very comfortable bed, were a bit tired and in need of an update.

Location, Location. Close to Port Arthur Historical Site for our 2 night stay. This was our reason for being there. Room had a fantastic view of the surrounding bay. Friendly staff.

The meal in the restaurant was average. There was no breakfast served at the property, and very limited options to purchase breakfast close by.

The view from the room was very scenic.

The room wasn't very clean, the wardrobe had many spiders in. Generally it was fine for one night.

Such a beautiful style of hotel, and lovely lake view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also liked they had a laundry.

Not knowing prior that the tap water was not drinkable. They did provide bottled water however everywhere else the tap water was fine. The pictures showed the pub which has nothing to do with the actual accommodation buildings. A bit of a let down, but not the be all, end all. The pub is beautiful however the food was disgusting. We didnt finish out meals, and i eat almost anything, and we were up all night running to the toilet. The parking gets busy. We went out and came back to no car parking and cars trying to fit in anywhere.

Location was great. I was drawn to the tudor style pub which is what made me book there. The lake view from our room was beautiful, but glad we only stayed one night.

the room is a bit outdated, the bed base is on wheels and rolling as soon as you sit on bed and lean against bed head, the bathroom is outdated, you don't have designated car park, we managed to get a car park in front of our room, but after we returned from visiting Port Arthur Historic Site, someone else parked there. Our car is an old truck with soft top so can't be locked as the modern cars, so we prefer to have the car park in front of the room

The motel is a beautiful old English style building, it looks unreal from outside, the back of the motel is a bay, the location is quite, secluded yet close to Port Arthur Historic Site, and we have the water view from our room, and the room is quite big, the restaurant has the old style too, reminds you of a really old pub in English countryside, food is good too.

Sound insulation is poor - I can hear conversations and even phone vibrations in the next rooms. Not the cheapest option in the area

Amazing water view from the room - I could just stay inside all day and enjoy the view. Reception staff are friendly. The room is spacious the bed is comfortable. It is very close to the shops and historic sites of Port Arthur, and very central to access all other locations in Tasman Peninsula. Air-con works perfectly
