The location was excellent and the upgraded room with water views we had was lovely 🥰. The room was very well set out and the bed was very comfortable. The amenities were good also. The Restaurant there was very traditional and the food was great. Reasonable value 😊. The Cocktail I wanted the lovely girl there definitely delivered on her promise to give it a go 🤗.

Cobwebs in the bathroom, couldn't work the pod coffee machine.

Booked this place mostly because it very reasonably priced. We received a free room upgrade when we checked in with a lovely view of the gardens and water. The property is much bigger than i expected and great location when visiting Port Arthur.

I did not like the fact that you had the hand basin and kitchen basin in one. There was no hand basin in the bathroom so if you wanted to clean your teeth you had to do it in the kitchen. Not very hygienic and little disappointing. We also were not aware there were ants. We left a teaspoon on the bench overnight and everything was smothered with ants the next morning.

The staff were excellent, and very friendlyl The room was nice but smaller than appeared on the internet. Great location, close to everything.

The bed moved quite easily & around the head of the bed beside the cabinet there was some dust & crumbs...I found I had quite a few ants around the floor & I'm not sure if this contributed to that, although with the location of the hotel being where it is it's only natural that nature will creep in & the room did have bug spray provided. My room was a wee bit noisy, with some heavier pick up vehicles coming & going outside along with the noise from the room next door...the guests weren't overly noisy at all, it was simply that there was/had been an adjoining door between the two rooms & the gap below it was quite big so I was able to hear conversations/movements & their tv.

The food was great, the staff were very friendly & the room was huge. The room having a microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle along with cutlery etc made it easy to prepare breakfast & lunch in. The view for my room was second to none & really made waking up so much easier. The bed was very comfortable & the room warm enough despite its huge size. Location wise it was perfect, ample parking & so easy to find.

Some of the exterior doors need to be updated. Coffee was very expensive for the size, but was good quality.

Staff are very good and ameniable. Food at the restaurant is very good and fairly priced. Facilities are standard. Close to Port Arthur, Penticost Tasman Boat Tour, Lilac Cafe/Farm and Chocolate Foundary, unfortunately the Bee shop was closed.

Not enough car parks was our only complaint. We were upstairs and had to park way down and carry our bags a bit of a way

Clean, well situated to The Port Arthur Historical Site. Comfortable large sized room with a beautiful view of the bay. The bed was comfortable and room was well appointed. Also had dinner at the restaurant and was really enjoyable

The facilities are very old and the shower was constantly dripping all night. The tap water isn’t drinkable but they do give you bottled water. I wish they had replenished it daily (you can ask reception for more)

A little more cosiness in the room - I got an upgrade to a bigger room with a fabulous view, but the lino on the floor made it feel austere. Without a car, it's a bit far from the Historic Site, but most people come by car apparently, and the local tourist bus is great/ really friendly and might drop you off at the hotel if they are going past.

Lunch and dinner was available, breakfast not included but basics available for $22 if ordered the evening beforehand - this could be a bit tricky if like me, you don't have a car to travel to other dining options easily.
