Breakfast was continental. Hot options would be a good addition. We came at the end of the season and the lounges and billiards room did not appear to be heated and were very cold so we did not use them. The dining room was chilly at breakfast. Room heat was available.

Lovely, well preserved old home with history.

It was a bit if a wait for breakfast which meant we had to rush to make our Gordon River Cruise.

Loved the old house. It was a nice touch being told the history when we arrived. The staff were all very helpful. The fire in the guest lounge was welcoming.

The breakfasts were lovely and the service was exceptional. The staff were extremely considerate, especially accommodating our later than anticipated arrival. The continental breakfast menu was more than adequate and the option of the delicious berry yogurt was most appreciated. A separate option of a hot quiche and salad was available at a modest additional cost. Everything was promptly delivered and there was great attention to detail. Importantly, the coffees were excellent. There were multiple common areas in which to relax, read or play games. The pewter chess set was particularly impressive. And there were many historical photos and points of information that told the story of the hotel's former grandeur. The location of the hotel was a very convenient walk away from the centre of town. In our room we were quite fascinated by the kettle, a lovely design that didn't drip when pouring. While there was a problem with the TV reception in our room, despite the manager's valiant efforts to fix the issue, it didn't really matter that much to us.

Beautiful historical mansion in Strahan. We had a Queen room which was large with a good sized bathroom. The host showed us some interesting features and history relating to the house. Bed was soft and room clean. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room with large windows overlooking the gardens.

Due to the age of the building, any movement from the rooms above could be heard. I was fine with it but our friends found it disturbing. Rooms were well presented however could have done with a thorough dusting eg blinds.

Historic building with large rooms and common areas for guests to use eg, sitting rooms and a pool room with open fire places. The hosts were extremely warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast included.

Breakfast was lovely. The Manor was an excellent location & we had a delightful stay, although some of the shared rooms were in disarray and looked more like a furniture storage unit. The managers of the property are new and still learning.

Bottom floor room was a little noisy.

Breakfast was very nice but the options were a little limited. The location of the Manor is fantastic as it is only a scenic 10 minute walk into town. The staff are very nice and parking is usually available right outside the Manor.

The rooms are a bit worn/tired looking. Our bathroom sink was cracked and the window glass was cracked. Room was dusty and had a mildew odor. Rooms need total renovation. Common areas/breakfast room had no heat during our stay- very cold in the morning.

Friendly and helpful staff made the stay enjoyable. Great location and nicely decorated common areas of the hotel.

It's a little tired and needs some modernisation, improved ambient lighting would help.. We had a possum in roof/wall cavity and this was a challenge to sleep through one night...

The rooms were a bit tired and need an update/refresh. Comfortable but could be fantastic after that restoration. Bathrooms and plumbing while functioning OK could be better. TVs in the room are old and would not display free to air HD channels as an example of needing a refresh

Very historic property recently bought by new owners (ex covid) with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. It has all the bones of a fantastic boutique hotel and some of common rooms are really nice ie lounge with fireplace. Staff were great.
