A very comfortable and pleasant stay in spite of small disappointments

Sadly room cleanliness was a little disappointing. Cobwebs in cornices, and attached porch area had not been swept for some time and the table & chairs very dusty. Small letdowns in an otherwise lovely stay.

Room was spacious and generally well set out. Restaurant was lovely with good food options and friendly staff. Also lovely pool and grounds.

On Sunday after I returned from Ubirr, there was a petrol generator outside my room. It was that loud I had to leave my room and I went to the golf club. No microwave in the room.

Good size room. Close to attractions in the area. Restaurant food was nice. Staff friendly and helpful.

It is a little bit tired, stains on carpets and dodgy door locks on sliding doors to pool and gardens

Great location to explore all the beautiful Kakadu has to offer. Rooms are equipped to give respite from the heat, air conditioning and dehumidifiers, art galleries with local indigenous art on display, restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner

A Must for Wet Season Extreme Experience.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children

    • Stayed 1 night

On arrival there was a group of about 10-11 Indigenous People and their language was appalling as they were drinking in the bar. Their odour was overpowering as well. Staff looked very uncomfortable at their presence in the bar and I had to ask 2 to move off the pool towel basket and they fell off (intoxicated).

We were upgraded to be closer to the pool which was nice, diner was exceptional, service good although being wet season staffing levels are lower and it took 10 mins to find someone to check us in. Rooms very tidy, plenty of pool towels. The highlight was sitting outside watching an incredible storm, mostly hundreds of lightening flashes from 9pm onwards.

Aircon couldn’t really cool the room enough. Bathroom a bit tired. Could do with more staff in restaurant, service was a little slow.

The drinks were a little slow coming out but that’s being picky!

The staff were amazing in our opinion, the food was great too, we didn’t have breakfast however we had 2 evening meals in the restaurant and the food was amazing, the best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time.

The property is very outdated and in need of a refurbishment. The bar area was not clean. We arrived only one other couple there, dirty tables, floor needed a vacuum. Also make bar tender made a mojito that did not taste like a mojito I think he used a mint or menthol liqueur, the female bar tender mojito was perfect. Indigenous couple fighting and screaming near our room in the early afternoon, no security or staff around to intervene.

The restaurant, the food was beautiful

The furniture of the restaurant is really outdated, our room needs also a refreshment. Too less people in service so that it was impossible to order a second drink or a dessert if the restaurant was half full. To close the bar at 9pm is also not a good service if you have in mind that it is the only bar in Jabiru. At the end the rate for a room does not fit to the state of the property and the offered services.

The entrance of the hotel and the exhibition of the aborigines is quite nice. The pool area is also comfortable especially the water temperature was super in such a hot area. The people in service are really friendly. Some little corners in the restaurant look quite nice. The bar is ok.

How unkept the grounds around the pool and courtyard were.

The meal we had in the restaurant that night was absolutely exceptional. I can’t speak highly enough about how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. Congratulations to the chef and staff.

Was a bit tired. I think some of the campgrounds (cabins) around Kakadu offer much more (location/natural beauty/value for money).

It was expensive given how dated it was and breakfast not included. Maybe we should have found a better deal in Jabiru.

The restaurant was very good (lived the pizzas and buffalo ragout!) and the staff lovely and helpful. Always nice to see pool towels available. Kids loved the pool.

The gardens and waterways in the middle of the complex need some attention to improve the ambience of the property.

Friendly staff and clean room. Great swimming pool to cool down and relax in after a day of sightseeing. The Art Gallery was amazing and showcased the talents of local artists with the opportunity to purchase their artworks.
