Kitchen needs some works, for e.g. the kitchen tap has water leaking when on. The chopping board needs replacement.

Our apartment needed a bit of general maintenance to bring it up to a high standard. Water leak in the main bedroom had been patched but not really repaired. Dirty towels stuffed in laundry cupboard around the hot water heater (had it been leaking?). A badly torn bath towel was hanging in our bathroom…how could the housekeeper not have seen how damaged the towel was? Despite having a full kitchen, there were no cooking trays that fitted in the oven (our group had 3 apartments and none of us had any kind of tray that would fit in the ovens). Flooring was lifting in a few places and was taped down.

Our room was on level 5 and while the apartment was clean and had no smell, the corridor stank with cigarette smoke. It was horrible.

Instructions for parking the car and getting into the apartment were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped.

Rooms are basic, no art work anywhere in the apartment, no extra furniture in the bedrooms other than bed and bedside tables even though they were large rooms. A chair or suitcase stand would have been appreciated. The spa is not in use, rusted and dirty, the building seems a little run down and smelt musty.

We liked the location, very handy for local shopping, restaurants and bars. It was very spacious and the beds are comfortable.

The apartment was a bit 'tired' in some areas like the bathroom (rusty floor drains & old looking grout) and kitchen - with 'standard' finishings throughout. The chairs, tables and couch were of an 'ok' standard. Musty smell in the hallways that thankfully didn't penetrate into our apartment. Our southern view out from the balcony was ok, not great. All windows needed a good clean. Biggest disappointment was the pool area. There was no bbq and the spa had been emptied / not working. The pool itself was ok, but the local birdlife - mainly pigeons - left their bird droppings on the side of the pool, over which the pool water flowed into the filter system. Swim at your own peril... and don't swallow any water! :-o This area was also tired looking. Apartment underneath had a dog that barked at odd times in the day.

This apartment was spacious and had 3 good sized bedrooms (each with a double/queen bed), with 2 bathrooms (2 showers) / 3 toilets and a good sized bath. Had a sizable private balcony, nice timber-type flooring throughout, large open lounge/kitchen/dining area. Very comfortable for 2 people, would be fine for 4 people, but struggle with any more given the size of the couch and dining table and available seating. Very comfortable beds, good built ins and reasonably clean throughout. Good air conditioning controls and clean vents. Location was good, a 5-10 minute walk to a number of local sites (just need to be a bit cautious later at night). Staff were helpful when contacted and had a secure location for our vehicle (needed for the location). Although close to some pubs and clubs, once the apartment was closed up at night, little noise penetrated into the bedrooms, which made for sound sleeping. In summary, a solid 3.5 stars... great for a family wanting a 'no frills' location.

Parking was tricky- had to use a car hoist. Would have like the instructions a head of time instead of the moment we pick up the key so we could process information. We had 6 people and was only given one FOB/Key, would have liked a second one

Overall the place had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and clean. Quiet and peaceful area. Easy walk to most places in Fremantle CBD

Lack of kitchen equipment very basic for a family if you wanted to stay in and cook Fans on balcony and expelled hot air limited the enjoyment of the outdoor area
