It didn't have a carport or garage however the street was quiet so on street parking was easy.

The view from the balcony was beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay.

The bathroom was a little chilly as only 2 heat lamps working. Not enough for a room with a high ceiling. Would have liked to see things like kitchen roll, foil, etc supplied but otherwise well equipped.

The house was charming and well furnished. Wood burner in the living room and radiators and electric blankets in the bedrooms were very welcome as it was cold at night. Very good location - 5 minute walk to town centre

The matress on the front bedroom for us was uncomfortable, felt really hard.

We loved staying here, the location was perfect as a quick stroll into town and nearby Avon Valley Inn pub. We loved all the interesting antique decor pieces and stories in each room, the renovations were well thought out. The rear deck was fantastic with amazing views of the mountains and the cenetaph clock tower was lit up at night and lovely to easily see from the deck. Air con worked great and much needed due to the high temperatures. The front porch was awesome and garden area lovely. We hope to be able to return in winter and kick off the fireplace...thanks so much for sharing this beautiful home...

A wonderful Federation home, beautifully restored & tastefully decorated - simply delightful! The whole house was well heated & so comfortable - everything was perfect! Would definitely stay at Galway again on the next trip to picturesque Gloucester!

A more noticeable number for the property- a little hard to see in the rainy evening and didn't want to accidently go to a private residence. We couldn't get the google chromecast to work but that was a good excuse to read more.

This was such a beautiful house to spend a few nights. We loved the old style decor and bric a brac, very tasteful! It was an oasis especially with a fireplace. I was however disappointed that Netflix or some other Smart app and Wifi were not included. For the price of the stay I want to be able to watch a movie at night and have free internet coverage. Another disappointment was the staff. We only dealt with one lady though booking.com and she was very unpleasant, rude and unhelpful which gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Apart from that we absolutely loved this house and wanted to stay longer. A really great escape!

A lavishly appointed spacious home set overlooking the towering hills and township of Gloucester. The owner has restored and upgraded the property so stylishly it made our weekend a real treat. The back deck overlooked the hills and was a great space for the whole day.

Outdoor setting was unusable due to being covered in bird droppings. Food cupboard in kitchen had mouse droppings in it. Fridge hadn't been cleaned. Lounges and bed were uncomfortable. Firewood for fire was great but no kindling or enough firelighters to get it going. It would have been nice to have a welcome booklet as is usual to explain how things worked. Parking was on the street - no driveway.

Nice view of the mountains from the back. Plenty of heating options throughout the house. Bathroom was lovely with a nice big bath and large shower.
