How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom is a little rustic, as shown in photos, but perfectly clean and adequate for the purposes.
The apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable, and very centrally located. A little quirky, but super cute! Danielle was excellent to deal with, replied immediately to questions.

Bathroom had (wet/mouldy) smell. Shower head wouldn’t stay upright.

The issue with the lock box code. Had some timing issues contacting the owner but all's well that ends well.
Goo d location, quiet setting, comfortable accommodation, close to eateries. Host provided a small thank you and apology gift after an issue retrieving he key from the lock box. That was appreciated.

The hand basin was tiny and no room for toiletries. Despite a comfortable shower, it left the floor near the basin saturated, so a towel needed to be sacrificed to avoid standing in a puddle to wash hands, do hair etc. Bath mat did not do the job. While helpful, the sensor light could not be manually switched off after leaving the bathroom, so a trip to the loo in the middle of the night disturbed everyone in the room.
Comfortable bed, good facilities and provision of tea coffee condiments. plenty of room for relaxing. Good quality linen and easy to adjust shower. The sensor light in the toilet prevented being stuck in the dark, trying to find the light switch.

The step from the entrance to the kitchen/bedroom area. Unfortunately there were possums in the roof. I told the staff upon departure who was going to deal with it.

The shower head was broken ( but was advised before we got there) it did fall and hit me on the head but no injury, and lots of spider webs

was a little bit on the pricier side but given how well equipped it was, i feel that the price is justified in this instance. another thing didnt like was the parking area. felt a little bit tight to get in and out of with but i was in my work ute, which probably wasnt the best option to drive on this trip
was in a very handy location, just a short walk to the train station and a shopping area. despite being close to a fairly busy nearby road, the town house was very quiet at night, which is something i love. the town house has all the amenities you could possibly need for a short stay.

Hot water in the shower did not last long enough. Only a small hot water system on the premises and not sufficient for one. If two people required showers the second person would most likely not have any hot water.

Only a minor complaint. The TV/appliance was extraordinarily complex, and it seemed impossible for anyone lacking a PhD in electronics to negotiate. The couch in the viewing area is too low for anyone with back problems.
No breakfast. Location: close to central Gawler and in a quiet neighbourhood.

No clothes cupboard or hooks to hang jackets. On the first night which was windy, something (branches?) was knocking the townhouse which kept me from having a deep sleep. Drainage in shower and sink was slow, causing water to overflow into the adjacent toilet.
Great location. Close to Tourist Info Centre and the town centre - all within a short walking distance. Free WiFi and Netflix. Clean rooms and utilities (microwave, kettle, toaster, stove top, washing machine!) and decorated with items, making it feel more homely. Parking just outside front door. Several varieties of packet cereals, tea, coffee, a small pack of milk and a can of soft drink for each day's stay.
