Lovely, self-contained accommodation. A particular win was the small room off the lounge. Great to be able to use the garden and pool as well. Would love to stay again.

TV wasn't much good but I rarely used it. The hills around are very steep so you need transport although bus is very close.

Property was clean, well laid out and had everything you needed. Wifi was excellent. Cooking stuff was great. Location was good, not far to drive for things to do. Hosts were exceptional.

Everything was perfect! Griet was an amazing host who was on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. We had lots of great chats with her and got to meet Wilson, a dear dog whom my son fell in love with. The accommodation was cool and very thoughtfully set out with everything we could need. We loved lounging in our under deck area and swimming in the pool. The photo below shows the second bedroom. My 21 year old son thought it was very cool!

Bedroom wasn't air conditioned but didn't matter as it has a lovely breeze. And a fan to use if you wish. There is air conditioning in lounge area.

Great location. Lovely hosts. The unit had everything I needed even down to salt and pepper, sugar, bath wash all the little things when self contained cost a lot to buy for a couple of days. Very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no air conditioning in the bedroom however it wasn't hot enough on our trip for this to be a concern.

The location of this was perfect for us as I had family staying just around the corner in Highland Park. It is also really central to everything if you want to shop, go to the beach or eat out. The flat is fully equipped with a small lounge, kitchen and even second single bed. It is definitely cosy but was comfortable for what we needed and would definitely stay again.

I wasn’t a fan of cooking on plates, but if u are used to it, it’s okay.

Property was tastefully decorated, modern , quick drive to the nearest shopping centres with a wide range of food options. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a good value for money. Beds and sheets were super comfortable. Hosts were very attentive to our needs. They allowed us to use their pool too, which was very thoughtful and kind. Their pet Wilson greeted us warmly and came for belly rubs everyday. There is even a outdoor seating place to sit and chill during the sunset… Will def recommend this place to our Friends and family.

It wasn't really an issue but potentially the fly screen may need fixing as we initially couldn't work out where the bugs were coming in from. After we shut the window and turned on the cooler instead, problem solved. No more insects. Box fan in the bedroom was a tad on the noisy side but nothing I couldn't handle so all good.

Fantastic and great accommodation which was an excellent hour's walk from Carrara Stadium, where we needed to be. Griet, Lincoln and Wilson, their dog, were excellent hosts. Very accommodating and hospitable.

Great location for our family trip to Gold Coast. Close to the highway with easy access to airport and all of the theme parks we wanted to visit. Also easy to get to Brisbane for a day trip. Hosts were great to interact with and lots of open spaces and views of the hills. Easy parking spot right in front. Will be back again on our next Gold Coast trip.

Super clean! 100% satisfied with the tidiness. If you have a car, do not stay in Surfers Paradise. Just 15 minutes drive out of the city center, you will find this lovely, spacious, comfortable and super tidy accommodation with a very affordable price! Great value!

Unlike most accommodation we've been in, tea and milk were not part of usual supply. However, I was given some promptly after asking, this is more of a point to note rather than a complain. One thing though, being downstairs you would be hearing walking noises from upstairs, especially early in the morning when all else was quiet. Otherwise all good.

The one bed granny flat was self contained and had two hotplates, a microwave and a washing machine. We liked the fact that there was a sofa and small dining table in the lounge and a separate area for a study table. There was also a nice undercover area outside where you could sit around and relaxed looking at the rear garden and a small pool.

I used to live in this area, so found this absolutely perfect for my visit. It's not quite on 'the glitter strip' which is ideal. No traffic, quiet and safe but with all the options nearby.

Griet and Lincoln are very nice hosts and the Wilson is such a friendly dog. The cosy corner unit we lived in is so comfortable as a home away from home and well located. We love our stay at this place and hope we can come back again next year.
