Perfect location in Cairns. Nice common rooms with rooftop terrace and huge space to put your food and stuff.

The location is excellent, right in front of the esplanade and just a 5-minute walk from the wharf, close to the night market. The staff is very friendly. The bathroom is clean, and the room is great, though it depends on the people you are sharing it with.

WiFi didn’t work at all. This was a nightmare considering we needed to work for the 5 days we were there. They said it had been broken for a month so I don’t know why they aren’t telling guests that before booking. We wouldn’t have stayed here if we knew there was no WiFi. Bed was super uncomfy

The only thing that make us a little bit sad about our stay was that I made a booking for 2 beds in the same share room with more than 1 month in advance but a few days before our arrival, they informed that they couldn’t accommodate us in the same room for the whole period. After a few messages, they come up with one solution and one of us just had to change room for the last night.

The hostel is in a very good location, near to restaurants, ferry terminal and markets, you can do everything by walk. Also, the facilities were always clean, including shared toilets. Is not a party hostel, so if you are looking for somewhere to rest after a busy day traveling around, it’s a good option. There’s a nice vibe!

Great location with easy access to all facilities. The kitchen is spacious and clean. It was very helpful to be able to cook for myself during my trip despite the high prices. However, the price of accommodation is very cheap.

The rooms were very cramped and there wasn't room for bags especially when people had really big bags, the person in the bunk underneath me had their bag leaning against the ladder so I was difficult to get up and down safely.

4 bed mixed dorm was a bit squished. Ensuite should be cleaned every other day (not sure how often it was cleaned). Kitchen is in need of some new equipment, typical for a hostel, lack of sharp knives, tin openers, saucepan handles need tightening etc. Only sponges were supplied for washing dishes, these were rarely replaced and it was like washing your dishes with an old sock. There are lots of long term guests which makes for a bit more of a dull atmosphere. There needs to be some events going on, even if it's just a few days a week.

Very chilled out vibe, good for a few days to explore Cairns. Not a party hostel by any means so you'll generally get a good night's sleep (if you don't have any snorers in your room). Generally a nice clean space, useful to have an ensuite. Kitchen was generally well cleaned. Nice seating areas outside and good communal spaces..

The room had a bad smell. Bed was not really comfortable. There was no room to put clothes (no chair or a small wardrobe).

I liked the location, easy access, big bathroom, a lot of plugs to charge devices. I was able to keep luggage at the hostel after check out free of charge. There is a big common room and laundry.

The bathrooms were always packed and there were not enough stalls for the number of guests. It was quiet for a hostel during night time but there was a lot of noise, such as leaf blowers during the day.

The kitchen is spacious with a lovely view. The hostel was in a great location. The staff were friendly and accomodating of requests! The rooms were small but cosy.

Bed was uncomfortable - quite hard and could feel the buttons on the mattress. Room would have been 10/10 otherwise.

Great location at the heart of the esplanade. Lovely room - clean and clearly recently remodeled. Big kitchen if you want to cook your own meals (good discounts at next door restaurant if not).

Was 20-25c outside and the room was veery hot and humid. They do have AC, but it seemed old and didn’t function properly in my room. Some guests lockers in the room were broken and couldn’t be locked, mine was functioning though.

Perfect location, just next to the lagoon and main streets. Nice common areas and the hostel also has a lot of discounts for food and excursions!
