No blinds on the big windows in the bedrooms so unfortunately we were forced awake early.

The serenity! Beautiful scenery, gorgeous chickens, this warm, inviting home had me relaxed and enjoying my long weekend.

The lack of reception (none) can be difficult at times, when trying to navigate your way out for lunch or dinner, but a minor inconvenience

apart from being in an incredible spot, the serenity and attention to detail were amazing!

The property was straight from a fairytale- loved, loved and LOVED it! The amenities are very good and the place is very clean! We were lucky to spot some Wallabies (or Kangaroos??) at the property. During the night… you can clearly see the stars and it’s absolutely magical! Highly recommended.

    A Lovely Cottage

My only problem with the kitchen was the size of the fridge/freezer. Having a bar fridge was way too small for two couples to use. We found it difficult to fit the drinks and food we had. I really think, a full-size fridge is needed in this cottage. Also, a big platter for entertaining would have been great also.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Goosewing Cottage with my husband and another couple. When we arrived, to the we saw a charming little cottage in a picturesque location. We opened the door to music playing, a bottle of wine and a chalkboard sign with our names on it welcoming us to the cottage. Very cute touch and a wonderful start to our stay. The cottage was clean and tidy. Inside the middle of the cottage has a kitchen, dining area and lounge room. On either side were the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The bedrooms where a great size, king beds and simply furnished. Linen and towels are provided. The beds were comfortable and warm. I had a great night’s rest on both nights. There is air con in both bedrooms. There is also a fire place in the main area, but due to it being a lovely temperate we didn’t use. With the accommodation you receive a breakfast hamper, which consisted of bacon, eggs, bread, muesli, milk, and orange juice. The bread must have been baked that day, as it was so soft and tasted amazing. There was also a few different spreads, a pod coffee machine with coffee pods too. Everything we needed for a lovely breakfast. We cooked our breakfast on the outside BBQ. Kitchen had a few essentials available like, paper towel, oil, salt and pepper. There is no Wi-Fi at the cottage and no mobile reception, but it gave us a chance to clock off and just enjoy the moment. There is however a phone in the cottage for you to use, should you need to call someone. The cottage sits on a beautiful property. A short walk and you’re at the gazebo by a sweet dam.. We sat there with drinks and just relaxed. A walk down the road and you can see goats an

Minor issue in the ensuite, there was nowhere to put our toiletries bags. I was glad there was a dressing table & mirror in the bedroom

Very picturesque setting with beautiful sunsets & it was very quiet & peaceful. We loved the great mood setting music playing as we walked in & the bottle of local Rose was much appreciated. Lots of extra personalised touches made for a lovely anniversary to remember. We took advantage of the complimentary wine tasting & cheese plate at Briar Ridge Winery, which is highly recommended. The cottage was very spacious with good facilities for self catering & cosy warm combustion fire, perfect for a winter stay.

Worst Place we have stayed in. - at trhe door we were meet with lenghly list of forbiden things, inclusive aircon use, according to the note left for us on the table to read, the owner can come in and turn aircon off anytime at own discretion. - The lock to front door doesnt work - No cold water in the fridge - No safety deposit boxes in rooms. - Bed is extremely uncomfortable, may as well of slept on their sun loungers. - Pillows were worn off hurting your neck when you slept. - Room furniture are old and deffinitely not what you may expect from $300.00 per night stay. - Bed sheets were old and worn off. - Fire Alarm located on the sealing almost over the bed in the bedroom do have green lights that was turned on constantly which is normal, however every now and then during the night a second light, red small spot of light within the smoke alarm was switchin on, it was turned off and on again for few hours each nighth we have stayed at this place. Fire Alarm upon inspection was visibly tempered with , it was sealed off during our stay. I could go on but im not going to waste any more time. DO NOT STAY. Forr $300.00 per night there are much better, cleaner, safer places to stay.

This was not indicated or clearly written or explained in booking.com the place was not properly cleaned. there was cobwebs behind the bedside table, bbq was dirty and frying pan in draw was dirty. it is also misleading in booking about the access to the pool.

no wifi. and this was not clear when booking. it’s made clear through emails received after booking but that was too late to cancel/ find an alternative. Also need to clearly state that roads to/ from property are unsealed as this has implications for hire car. Felt somewhat misled.

Unfortunately there was an incessant very loud "dripping" onto the chromadek roof right outside the bedroom window ! It was very cold and we were not able to use any warm heating downstairs and had to rely on the wood fire ( which was gorgeous) Unfortunately there was not a sufficient supply of wood and we had to use sparingly just to make it last until the last night.

Location was absolutely beautiful . Breakfast was lovely.
